Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Insanity needs friends Empty Insanity needs friends

Post by Rose Granger-Weasley Sun Nov 04, 2012 12:45 am

The entire week, Amanda had been sending her off to other places, trying to get her out of the cafe for at least a little while. And every time, Alexis had gotten into some kind of trouble. First with Sawyer, the Head of her ex-department, the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. The second time, she'd encountered a Vampire named Sophia Granger and that hadn't gone well at all. Amanda had told her to try one more time, she needed to get away from the cafe and she had finally snapped with her friend.

Her patience had been strung out too much.

"Amanda have you not been listening to what I've been saying?!" Alexis shouted at the blonde. Amanda's eyes widened. Alexis had never screamed at her before. "I know what you said. But you can't spend all your time in here. It was just some bad luck. Try again and you'll be fine." Alexis sighed. Amanda wasn't getting it. And she didn't make it any easier by not explaining to her what she had done. "Amanda, I can't." she said. "Why not?" the girl asked. "I've ... Done some things that are really bad. I have to hide or else I'll be in big trouble." she sighed and looked at Amanda. "Understand now?" she asked. Amanda's widened eyes showed Alexis that she knew what she meant. The blonde nodded and went back to her station for the day.

Since that morning things had been really tense between the two of them. Amanda refused to cross words with Alexis and she really couldn't blame her. She would feel betrayed too if her best friend had been keeping something like that a secret from her. And she would be a little scared too. The only good thing was that the day was almost over and in about an hour they would be closing and maybe after things would go back to normal. Alexis could only hope, she couldn't lose her only friend.

Caleb was in "Cafe Twin Montéz" eating a croissant, made of cheese and ham. He rather enjoyed the muggle meal, but he figured that was because of the ham, him being a werewolf after all, made animal-flesh his favourite. He was about to leave when he heard a dark-haired girl screamed, he put his head down to stifle a laughter, god it was a cafe, why so much drama.

He then moved to another table to get a better view, he recognised the girl, but who was she? Was she a school chum? No. A school sweetheart? No. A school Ravenclaw? YES!, but who? He'd dealt with a lot of Ravenclaw's before, but none as beautiful as this one. He walked up to her breaking the silence, "My name is Caleb Dawson, and you would be? Nice to meet you" he said hoping she'd offer her hand so he could kiss the palm gentlemanly.

Fifteen minutes left until closing time and Amanda had taken the last minutes as an excuse to leave early. Alexis hadn't said anything to her anymore, if the girl wanted to leave early today that was fine. She didn't blame her for wanting to be far away from her right now. She had pretty much put everything together now and she had realized that Alexis was a murderer without even needing explanations. Alexis felt bad for Amanda, she had to work with her, and not just that. She had just found out that her best friend since they were first years, wasn't the same as she was before. She was a murderer. That was a lot to take in.

As she thought about all this a certain scent filled her nose. The scent of another Werewolf. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing right now, but she turned around as she heard the other wolf introduce himself. Caleb Dawson. She knew who he was, he was a Death Eater also, if she wasn't mistaken. Alexis stared at him as he asked her who she was and she smirked at him. "I don't know if I should be grateful or insulted that you don't know who I am." she said in her usual icy voice. "I'm Alexis D'Eath." she told him, extending her hand toward him.

"What a pleasure to meet you" he said, kissing the top of her extended hand, "Enchanté" the smell of another werewolf excited him, as he hadn't smelt another for so long, he breathed in quietly, and said, "Oh-" he said thinking how to reply, "You should've been grateful, but now I have your werewolf scent, I can't stop thinking about you, Alexis. You were a Ravenclaw in my year, correct? Which means you're smart, which means you're a Ravenclaw, and I know why.

Well my first thought has to be Ravenclaw honestly. You're nice, slightly quiet, and not meaning to cross the line but very cute for a young girl your age and if my memory serves me correctly all the cute girls got placed in Ravenclaw when we went there. You're a Ravenclaw aren't you?" (That was shamelessly stolen from Silvyr sorry)

The last time she'd gotten the scent of another Werewolf, it hadn't turned out so well. It had been the scent of Naomi, who had betrayed the Death Eaters. This time, at least it was a bit more pleasant than that. He kissed her hand and she raised an eyebrow. At least he had manners, Alexis smirked slightly at him. He was definitely trying to be charming towards her, that was easy to see. "I don't mind that you have my scent at all. Because now I have yours as well." she smirked. She wasn't sure if it was a good thing the way he said it, but she didn't care, it's not like if he tried to do anything she wouldn't be able to defend herself.

He took so long to get to his point of her being a Ravenclaw, though she just listened to what he said, not interrupting him at all. When he finished she grinned at him and nodded. "You're right. I was a Ravenclaw, but I'm not that innocent girl who was always the victim of others anymore. I changed a lot since then. I suppose it was for the better." she told him. He took most of the time, it seemed to her, trying to flatter her for some reason. Did he just want something from her?

"Well, being in the allegiance we're in, eventually we'll make the world better, and not just beautiful individuals like yourself' he said smirking, "I guess you want to know what I want?" he said taking his time, making the moment suspenseful, "I want to be your partner" he then lowered his voice to a tiny whisper, "In the DE's two werewolves, what would make a better team? We're both 19, and want the same things, you know you want to" he said walking around her in even circles, flicking her hair into the air ever-so-often.

This was a proposition he thought she couldn't refuse, he'd just have to see.

He said he wanted to be her partner and she raised an eyebrow again. "Oh is that all?" she said somewhat mockingly. A partner. That couldn't be too bad, if anything they would become a pack, that was better than being lone wolves without one, a lone wolf was always more vulnerable than any other type of wolf. She listened to what he had to say and she took a few moments to think about it all.

It wasn't a bad idea at all. They were both Death Eaters and they were the same age too. Her eyes followed him as far as they could as he walked around her in circles, like a wolf with its prey and she smirked before she nodded. "Alright." she said. "We'll be partners." She told him, with a smirk

"Beautiful" he said, slightly accidentally grinding his teeth together, "But i'll warn you, I'm usually very anti-social, so it will take me some adjusting, I hope your'e ok with that" he said, then went up to her ear and whispered, "Maybe you can help me?" he asked, twirling a strand of her hair.

"I'm planning on telling Aaron about our little alliance, if you don't mind. He's is being almost a tutor to me, and I'm not making secrets behind his back." he looked at her, tension between them, "Why is it that you haven't already been approached?"

"Also on thing, although I'm good at it, I personally don't like taking people's lives, I'll leave that up to you."

Alexis smirked. "Anitsocial, huh?" she asked. "Well don't worry. That doesn't matter." she told him. She looked out of the corner of her eye, watching him as he twirled a strand of her hair and she smirked. "Maybe." She looked at him with her caramel eyes and her smirk had slightly faded when he said he would be telling Aaron about their alliance.

She shrugged and said, "Do what you must. I don't care if he knows." in a cold voice, that was natural to the girl now. His question, for some reason, caused her body to stiffen and she laughed softly. "I;m not exactly approachable for some people." she told him.

"Taking lives is something that must happen in order for our cause to be completed. Innocent people sometimes die, because they get in the way." she told him. That was something she knew well. She had already taken the lives of two Hogwarts students because they had gotten in her way.

He almost shivered as she said this but kept it in, "But first Order of business, I'l come here to talk with you a lot, trust me, that stupid associate has to go, she'll eventually get suspicious, I say go over to her house with a bouquet and then say if you can come in, go in leave the door ope for me, when she's making coffee, we'll strike, then dump her somewhere, deal?"
