Tortue is a DE's Best Friend

Morrigan stood perfectly still as the spell took effect, causing her face to tingle. She suddenly realized that she now had the normal human span of 120 degrees, and she could actually see to the left of her without the need to turn her head. She smiled slightly at this, as her limited field of vision had always been a bane to her. Her smile wavered however as something felt different.

Morrigan lifted her fingers up to her mouth, pressing them experimentally against her now blunted teeth. She also now noticed that her fingernails looked completely normal as well. While she didn't like these two changes, Morrigan accepted them without complaint. She could inflict damage with what she currently possessed, just not quite as much...and besides, perhaps Ne'Os would remove the enchantment once they got started on this little girl from the Order.

"Certainly," Morrigan responded in her gravelly voice, then fell gravely silent. Understanding that she possessed very little knowledge of the social boundaries among the civilized, she decided that she would remain as quiet as possible. She would save her words for when it became time to terrorize this little potions-maker friend of Mystique's.

When they came back in, Mystique was sipping wine, "Our friend Matthew (Felix Barker) isn't here yet, maybe we can start without him? I can just predict this party will be one to remember don't you think Kevin and Georgia-May? Oh, I forgot, Santana meet GM, we met in school, she was a Slytherin, but Gryffindor at heart, isn't that right George?" she made sure the bottle of wine was emptied quickly, and started mingling casually, before guiltily glancing at Ne'Os, "I wouldn't suppose you have any more wine?" she asked, her lip slightly trembling, but a voice in her head, told her to persevere.

To torture her friend, it seemed unjust, and she had to admit, she had had some good times with Santana, but all those memories had to fade away. She followed Santana to the cellar and indicated the others to follow. "I was teeling them how nice your cellar was, they wanted a sneak preview." Santana looked at bottles, and Mystique drew her wand, and looked at the others then back at Santana, "I'm sorry" was her final words before, she screamed "Crucio" and sent Santana writhing in pain.

Morrigan rolled her eyes as she heard Mystique say that she was sorry to her friend. There was no place for friends in the Death Eater's world. The whelp would learn soon enough.

Despite Morrigan's distaste for Mystique, her interest was piqued by the girl's sudden lashing out at Santana. Morrigan shuffled in a bit closer, leaning down to get a good look at Santana's face. She giggled demonically, though careful not to get in the way until ordered to take part.
