Tortue is a DE's Best Friend

Santana wiped down her bench, and put her clean cups away. Her best friend Mystique McKay was coming over with some friends, and they were having a party. She hadn't actually met the strangers that were soon to enter her house, but put on some calm music, and opened a bottle of champagne, and getting 6 glasses out, filling them all up with the pale yellow liquid.

She was wearing a summer dress, and her owl was asleep in her bedroom. She had only been to a few parties in the past, and had never hosted any, she hoped she could do an acceptable job.
She heard a knock on the door and wondered who her first guest to arrive would be, she opened the door, and casually said, "My name is Santana, and by the looks of it, you're my first guest"

Ne'Os was on his way to a party of sorts. It was the one exclusive to death eaters excluding the owner of the house of course but that was because she was to be the entertainment. While he didn't usually do these things unless he needed to he figured he needed the practice.

He wore a fine looking suit and had transfigured his face so he appeared to be 29 with blond hair and striking green eyes. He imagined this is what he would have looked like had his life not taken a brief yet traumatic intermission. He normally wouldn't bother with a disguise but he knew this girl was a order member and there was chance he could be recognized.

He walked up the step and knocked at the door. He gave his host a charming smile "Indeed I am. My name is Kevin McClain and might I say it is just say what a lovely house you have." he said honestly. It was quite nice. In his mind he went through a checklist of magical enchantments that wizards and witches used to protect their houses. He wondered if any were in place. He supposed he would find out rather quickly.

"Nice to meet you" as soon as he had said this, a siren on the wall with a sign above it saying 'DE Alert' went off; she just looked at him and smiled, "It's broken, I doubt such a charming young man could be a death eater" her cheeks turning a bright crimson.
"I shall give you the tour" she led him through a hallway and turned on her right to the kitchen, "There's champagne for when you want it" she continued on into the lounge room, "It's nothing much" she said shrugging and then left the room and pointed to a hatch, "Basement/Wine cellar, I'll get more wine when we are all finished, but you won't see much of that room," lastly she pointed in the direction of the bathroom, and then turned around.

"So that's it, how did you meet Mystique?"

Ne'Os smiled "Actually I was when I was younger. But I left when He who must not be named was killed by his right hand. Ne'Os Emof was his name. I heard a rumor he was killed himself. But that is ancient history. A history I'm not to proud of actually. But no matter I have devoted my life to atoning for my passed crimes and have a comfy job in the ministry as well as a wife and three children" he said making his story sound believable. It wasn't completely a lie he wasn't proud of his past and he did have three children the wife part was up in the air, but that was to be expected when you try to murder them and their best friend. He figured it wouldn't have lasted anyway; 300 years was a long time to be with someone.

"Believe it or not we met in a Pub one night. Excellent drinking buddy that one. My wife just loves her" he said with another charming smile.

"The past is past, as long as your not a dirty scumbag anymore it's ok" she said smiling at him, she picked up a glass of champagne a sipped it, she offered him his glass, "It's a mystery of a wine, it will change flavor depending on your mood, it's a load of bullocks as far as I'm concerned, purple is innocent, green is feeling guilty, blue is angry, pink is happy and grape is actually guilty. See at your touch its gone grape, and you're haven't done anything" she said.

"She is a good drinker, I made sure I stocked up on beer and wine as she's coming."

Ne'Os chuckled at the enchanted wine "Spend a few years on the wrong side of a wizarding war and you will forever have grape. But no matter.I work with enchantments like this in the ministry. Its a simple spell really If you know where to look you can see it." He took a sip making a face slightly. "I'll admit that the flavor of grape has lost its charm." He swirled it slightly looking at it using his wandless magic to make it change to a rainbow like color. "there see simple as pie" he said absently taking another sip and finding the taste to be much more pleasing.

"So how did you meet her?" he asked politely trying to steer the conversation away from his supposed past life.

"She used to be a few years ahead of me I recall, I think she's 24 or 23, I myself am 22, too young to work on the Order or anything" this of course was a lie, but he was a stranger and was yet to earn her trust. The doorbell rang and she smiled, opening the door, "Hi Mystique" she said hugging the ginger, "Long time no see" she led her through to the kitchen and said, "I've met your friend Kevin, he seems like a nice bloke"

"Yes he is" she said glaring at Ne'Os, "I just need to ask him a question regarding the um party" she said, "Come along Kevin" she said pulling his arm into another room. "Has she told you anything? Kevin, seriously?" were the basic questions she asked. She looked him in the eyes, and she almost felt bad for the pain Santana was soon to endure. "How are you going to torture her Ne'Os? No-one can mess up the plan, and Morrigan? How is she going to get past our entertainment, she has a bloody white eye, and scars over her face, when you hear her arrive cast a spell changing her face, Santana can't get suspicious."

((Ne'os, if you don't mind, I'm going to assume that she was told to wait for a sign from you before entering the house.))

Morrigan shifted her weight outside the door of the house, extremely restless. She had been told to wait for a sign before entering the house. Her appearance, and quite frankly, her demeanor could give away their game prematurely. Morrigan was used to this, however it didn't make her any more patient. She was accustomed to being used as a scare tactic due to her face and the threat of receiving cursed scars; however, she often resented the fact that Aaron deemed it necessary for her to be supervised during these outings. Sure, she may go too far ever now and again, but really, what was one more dead wizard anyways?

"She is order is she not? My name is well known to them." He said with a smile. "And don't worry I wont call the Raven for this girl...Unless you want me to. We can do this however you want I know how to use magic without killing people. Or we could giver her a injection of vampire blood. That would hurt pretty significantly." He said thinking about other ways to cause pain and suffering.

"And don't worry about Morrigan I told her to wait outside until I come get her. Her face is quite shocking but in a useful way. Ill go tend to her right now." he said walking over to the front door. He quickly stepped out shutting the door before their host could see the girl outside.

"Hello my old friend so good to see you" he said keeping the act going in case anyone was listening. In a hushed tone he said "Hold still a second I need to change your face. Have no fear I promise to remove the spell when we start. Besides these spells are taxing and running mine and yours will be taxing."

In one movement he drew his wand and waved it slowly across Morrigan's face. Making her left eye look healthy and brown. Her scars seemed to shimmer out of existence and even her hair, skin, and clothes look nice and clean. He could feel the spells taxing his concentration but he had no concerns that he would be able to maintain them for the length of time needed.

"There now you look presentable" He said quietly then more loudly said "Well its good to see you lets head inside shall we?"
