Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

There aren't many times when Alexis would be out and about in Diagon Alley. She never really had the time to wander around and do some shopping or whatever. She had to take care of the Cafe and that was a full time job that she couldn't just leave on its own. Sure she had Amanda there to help her and everything, but it was her shop and she didn't like leaving it, just like that.

Yet today, somehow Amanda had convinced her to leave it for a while so that she could go out and do something other than work. She didn't get that Alexis couldn't be out in the open just like that, that was why she spent most of her time in the Cafe. Someone could recognize her and things could go very wrong from there and that was a risk that she preferred not to take. However, she acted as calmly as she could as she walked through Diagon Alley, hearing an occasional greeting from someone else, though she didn't answer them.

She came across a shop that caught her eye, McKay's Spells, and she decided to go in. She knew that it was run by Mystique, another Death Eater, and though she never really spoke to the girl, Alexis knew quite a bit about her. She walked through the shop and looked a few things that sparked an interest in her before moving on.

Sawyer had not expected to see a familiar name in the criminal files he had been sifting through, and yet, he had. Now, Alexis d'Eath didn't have a record anything like Morrigan Devlin, Naomi Greyback, or the other werewolves that were in his file. In fact, there was no definite proof against her, but she was suspected to have turned a few victims, and to possibly have aligned with the Death Eaters.

This was rather sad to Sawyer. Alexis had been an innocent little second year when he knew her. He had dealt with her on occasion as Head Boy, but she was either a victim or a helpful, innocent bystander. She had seemed wide eyed and sweet- not capable of being a killer. He had never even thought she may end up like her family, who were notorious for cruelty. He had suspected her to be a breath of fresh air.

Even Sawyer could be wrong.

He had been heading into her cafe when he saw her begin to leave. He pulled away, standing in the street and watching the door. She left and he watched her work her way down the street. She ducked into a shop and he took to the street, entering the shop a minute or so after her.

Sawyer glanced around, and spotted her. Just as he did, her eyes glanced up and met his. He raised his eyebrows, smiling a little and approaching her. "Alexis? I don't suppose you recognize me. I was Head Boy during your second year. Sawyer Weasley?"

((Slight godmode. Forgive me?!))

[OOC: I guess so, if you'd like, I don't mind]

Besides the two or so objects she had passed that caught her eye, nothing more in the shop caught her attention. Then again, not a lot of things caught her attention anymore at all. Before any little thing would've gotten her all over excited about it, but now it was hard for anything to get even a little reaction out of her. She sighed and placed an item that had been in her hand back down. She had just been getting ready to leave the shop when someone began to approach her.

Alexis looked at the man and frowned slightly when he introduced himself as Sawyer Weasley, and said something about her second year. She looked him over and shrugged. "No, I don't recognize you. I don't remember much from my second year." Or her third, fourth and half of her fifth year before she was turned into a werewolf. There were a lot of things Alexis didn't remember from a lot of different times, but those three and a half years were even foggier than anything else.

She looked very different, if it was Alexis that was. Gone was the happy little kid and here was this dark, brooding character with a dark demeanor surrounding her. The shop location indicated it first of all- more dark than light abounded here, that was for sure. Perhaps Sawyer was taking it out of context. Perhaps Alexis was as he remembered. But eight years or so changed a lot.

She hadn't recognized him. He frowned a little. "I'm sorry. Are you Alexis d'Eath? I was so sure you were." He waited politely for a response, simply curious to see how she had done since he had met her last.
