Press Conference

Ty apparated to the Ministry guest entrance and entered the Atrium. He was wearing his best dress clothes, which was odd for him. He felt out of place in them, and was much more comforitable in his plain jeans and tshirts. Nevertheless, he knew he should be dressed well for this occasion.

Ty knew there was speculation about whether his father was dead or not, and he figured if he wasn't, Ty would find out tonight. Afterall, if someone was about to give away Ty's millions, he'd be sure to speak up about it.

Ty walked to the stage, and sat down in a chair on it, waiting for the Lupins, and Kingsly Shacklebolt so he could start the press conference.

Susan arrived a bit early to the Atrium not wanting to be late to the press conference. Yes she was here for the Daily Prophet but she was going to be respectful. She wanted to make sure she had the facts straight before putting it in the Daily Prophet. She had to get a quill that wrote itself since her hands were still raw from what happened in Diagon Alley but she still didn’t regret saving that baby from the burning building.

She found a place to sit and sat down carefully not to sit on her yellow cloak, she knew she was going to get looks for her cloak until they saw the back. On the back she had the names of all of those she had known that had died in either wars or recently. On her right sleeve was Edgar’s name and on the left was Claire’s name.

Jack stumbled into the Atrium of the Ministry, after a good six days or so of nonstop movement and lack of sleep. She had technically begun the process of quitting her job, but until everything was squared away with Sawyer, she was still the head honcho over in the Department of Fluffies.

Jack didn't expect many people in work today and she had not dressed for work, though she rarely adhered to any sort of dress code. Besides, who would be there to see her in all her frazzled glory- pale from exhaustion, dark circles underlining her eyes, hair mused and untamed. Jack looked a bit frightening, if one were to give an honest answer.

That's why she entered the busy Atrium as though entering a nightmare. She looked around in a haze, confused by what was going on. She reached up to rub her head and slowly, numbly, pushed her way through the crowd.
