Personality traits/Character Attributes: Jemma is a quite woman, she is nice to everyone but has a few really close friends. She hates having arguments and falling out, and tries to make everyone get along all the time. She is pretty, I guess, but she's not beautiful or anything. She tries to help others in any way possible, and being a Professor is a good way to do this.
Skills: She's skilled at Divination, she is said to have 'the eye'. She is also good with animals. She's above average at general magic (charms, transfiguration) but not by much. She is a good Keeper at Quidditch.
Weaknesses: She isn't that good at talking to people she doesn't know, she finds it quite hard to make friends. Being a teacher, she is overcoming her inability to speak to a lot of people, although her classes are always small. She is often too nice to people, forgives them too easily and doesn't stand up to people, as she is afraid to upset them. She always puts herself last, which can be considered good or bad, although she should think about herself more often.
Likes: She loves animals, her friends, and she really likes Divination and being able to pass her knowledge onto other students.
Dislikes: She doesn't like arguments, or writing long essays, she always tries to set short homework and/or practical homework. She also doesn't like people who purposely misbehave, when she and/or other people are trying to learn/study/whatever, it's too distracting.

Family Information: Mother, Lydia, was a witch, her father, Micheal, was a muggle. She has an older brother, Charlie, who is ten years older than her.
Background: Lydia hid the fact that she was a witch when she met Micheal, and lived a muggle life. Charlie wasn't a wizard, and he didn't get on with her parents. He left home when he was 16 and Jemma was 6. When she was 11, she got her Hogwarts letter. Her mother was so pleased she confessed she was a witch to her husband. Micheal freaked that witches existed and that he knew nothing and left her mother. Lydia lived alone whilest Jemma went to school, but Jemma stayed with her every holiday. When her mother was 67, she died of a wizarding illness. Jemma couldn't bear to live alone, and this is one of the things that prompted her to teach at Hogwarts. It would give her a home and a job. She took the job of Divination Professor a year after the death of her mother, and she hasn't left since. She also recently became Head of Hufflepuff, once the old Head of Hufflepuff retired.
