Davy Jones calls you

"Why would you do that?" she demanded. "Why pretend like you don't care. If it's so natural that friends care, why in Merlin's name would you try so hard to make it look like you completely indifferent to me!?" Her voice was becoming strained with frustration and hurt, as she tried to understand why he was being so mean.

Again, he tried to move her, but she grabbed the handle of the door and held to it, refusing to be budged as she glared defiantly at Foster. She stared at him and finally said, "You're a jerk, Foster." And with tears of frustration welling in her eyes, she pulled away from him and ran for the girl's staircase, running upstairs and away from Foster.

Foster didn't say anything else to Ellie, he was tired of fighting with her over something this stupid, but he wasn't going to let her think she won. He just stayed quiet and winced when she called him a jerk. He watched her run up the girl's staircase, not even bothering to try and stop her and he sighed. "Maybe I am a jerk ... I don't care." he said softly.

He frowned and didn't feel like being in the common room anymore. He grabbed the handle of the common room door and stormed out. He didn't even know where he was supposed to go now. But anywhere was probably good.
