The cause of the Green Itch finally figured out? Is there a cure? What caused this outbreak? Let’s find out from none other than Robert Lupin.
“So Mr. Lupin what is the update on the Green Itch?”
“The ministry with cooperation with St. Mungo’s has been have to discover that the Welsh Green Itch is actually generated by a toxin that concentrates on those systems in a witch or wizard’s body that gives them the ability to do magic,” Robert.
“What does this mean? What can we do?”
“In other terms, the more pureblood a witch or wizard is, the more susceptible they are to the Itch and its side effects,” Robert.
“Where is it from?”
“The toxin has apparently been introduced into the water supply of England’s wizarding world and therefore has been in food sources and other such things. The Ministry will be importing water until the toxin is neutralized and is notifying food purveyors to produce fresh food sources produced with water from the outside the country’s wizarding water supply,” Robert.
“How did this happen?”
“The Department of Law Enforcement is making an investigation into how and why the toxin got into the water supply but, even though there are leads, there are no suspects at the time,” Robert.
“Are you working on a cure or vaccine?”
“An anti-toxin is under development currently, and steady progress is being made,” Robert.
“Thank you Mr. Lupin for clearing this up for us,”
