Put a Ring on it

She was hugging him.

Hugging him.

If it were anyone else, Gregory would push them away and demand to know if they were insane. Greg knew that she was insane though. So, he wasn't that shocked. Or, at least, didn't show it. He let his eyes flicker down to the girl that was clinging to his torso. Swallowing the lump that was in his throat, Gregory did something that even surprised him.

He wrapped his arms around her.

And he almost smiled at how small she felt in his arms.

Gregory was hugging back.

What. The. F***.

There was no way that it was the Gregory that Cat had gotten to know and hardly tolerate. But as she hugged him, she nuzzled into his chest. It was difficult, as she was so short and he was so tall her head barely made it to the middle of his arms. But he was being so sweet and she was being such a moron that Cat couldnt help but enjoy it.

He did feel nice to hug. Cat really liked the hug.

Cat, what is happening? If this was in the past, she would smack herself across the face. This wasn't normal for her. She didn't show emotions and she already promised she wouldn't develop feelings for Gregory, as he had shown that he wouldn't either.

But here Cat was, breaking her own rules and possibly falling for him.

Damn emotions.
