Danny paused for a moment and narrowed his eyes slightly away from Miseria. It was as if she were purposely trying to tear him down from the foundation and make him collapse, but it was almost discrete. Perhaps this was intentional and perhaps it wasn't, but it didn't make anything any easier for him. With a slight nod and a somewhat defeated attitude, he moved himself out of the water and back into the freezing cold. He walked back over to his jacket he had set on the ground and reached into its front pocket, pulling out his wand. With an intricate wave, he felt a hot blast of air on his feet, then legs, then torso, then head, as he began to dry himself off. Magic sure could be useful, that was for sure.
Pulling the jacket back onto himself, he began to feel himself begin to relax once more. What she had asked was reasonable, the corset was an interesting piece of clothing, but seemed difficult to put on by just one person...now that he thought about it, how the hell did she put it on herself? He felt himself tense up again and suddenly, a short burst of laughter flew from his lips. No idea why, but he always did so whenever he felt nervous. He walked over to where Miseria had set her clothing down and gripped it in his right hand, pulling it up from the ground. He would regain his control, and he wouldn't try to do something he would regret.
He practically jogged back over to Miseria and continued to hold the dress in his hands, his composure seemed to be regained. "Look Mis," he said, almost softly "tonight was fun, regardless of the freezing cold and everything, but uhh...would you like to do this again? No debts or anything, just...us?" Boy, he knew how to chop up a good sentence, but this was like the Reign of Terror. After a second, he quickly uttered "Because uhh...shit, not making this any easier for myself."
