Danny could easily sense the irritation that began to arise in her tone, it was very clear something was disturbing her. He didn't want to nose his way into her buisness, that wasn't the reason why he was back in the Order, yet he didn't need her beating down any idea he set forward. It would get them nowhere. He pinched the bridge of his nose out of frustration and sighed. "Look," he said calmly, his tone still casual and somewhat rather dry "I know we can't just start protecting random villages, it'd be impossible to do so. But we have something here, we have a start to finding some evidence, some sort of trail that we can follow. It's better than sitting around a small room for several hours and bickering like old men in a country club."
The frustration was growing, anyone could easily see this. It angered Danny that he couldn't do anything about this slaughter, he knew he was helpless to do anything and not just charge into something he possibly couldn't handle alone. Hell, he'd done that numerous times before, but this new 'generation' of Death Eaters were smarter, more elusive. He'd have to be careful. He started to pace off into a random direction, looking towards the ground and almost praying to some deity that he could find something between the lines. No one was perfect, and not even magic could cover everything up. No, there had to be a mistake, there had to be something. But where could they begin? He thought for a moment, the amount of thinking he was doing almost painfully obvious. "Could they have left something on the outskirts of town?" he asked curiously, raising his voice so Jack could hear from a distance. They had to regroup somewhere before the attack, or someone had to have stayed behind to watch. It was a good idea of where to start.
