Red Velvet

Alex yawned. He had been in Spain since the school year ended. But then he had taken Floo Powder to Diagon Alley at times. He had already done his shopping in the Spanish Stores. Alex had done his usual training and then he left to Hogsmeade trough the Floo Powder and said, "The Three-" But then Alex stopped. He wanted to check where his sister was so she wouldn't send him to Knockturn Alley almost killing him. He saw his sister running towards him. "Locomotor Mortis!" He pulled out his wand had his sister binded. "The Three Broomsticks!" Alex said and left.

When he was around the three broomsticks he pumped into a girl, all he could see was red hair.

Cat had been trying to do a bit of shopping in Hogsmeade. All she could get was groceries, which her mother would appreciate. Ever since her third year, her mother would let her go off and do whatever in the magical world. Trying to make her feel a part of her life. Cat would bring back magical things for her mother to see. Her favorite being the wizard candies.

Getting rather hungry and light headed, Cat had decided to go into the Three Broomsticks. What she hadn't been expecting was to be thrown to the ground. Sitting up, she grabbed her bags and turned red, seeing the confused faces of the people sitting and enjoying their meals. "Errr...." Cat trailed off, feeling awkward.

Alex hadn't fallen. While training around the world he had trained in Sumo. That was one thing that didn't work out for him. He thrown and tossed around. So that is why when the girl made an Impact with Alex. Alex had even budged, because he had felt harder impacts than that. He looked at the girl had dropped to the ground. "Damn." He said, because had hit her, and he also thought that the girl was pretty damn hot. So he said it somewhat like "Daaaaayum." He helped the girl up. "Sorry for that. I really am." He apologized. "I'm Alex. Alex Jones, Hufflepuff." Alex said. He decided to use his skills of deduction but then decided it might not be such a good idea since it would maybe freak the girl out.

Cat had sat up, rubbing her head, and saw a boy, she thought was her age. She raised a brow, amused at his exaggerations. It was always fun to see men to that to her. "No, no trouble." Cat reassured with a wave of her hand. She reached to get her bags. Getting up, tried to see if she remembered the name. Nope, nothing.

"Catalina Malcom, but call me Cat. I'm a Gryffindor." Cat always introduced herself like that. She didn't want people to think her mother was crazy, naming her children after animals. No, that would be absurd.

Alex took a sigh of relief since the girl hadn't been mad. "That's good..." He smiled. Alex popped his knuckles and smiled at the girl. Then she had said her name. Catalina. That sounded close to Alex's sisters name Caterina. She looked about his age. He then looked at her. "Well... Let me invite you to a butterebeer to make it up to you." Alex said. Now most girls would think that Alex was trying to hit on them. And they were somewhat right, he actually did find the girl very cute. But Alex was just so innocent.. That he actually wanted to make it up to her.

Seeing Alex smiling at her made her cheeks tinge pink. It was embarrassing, it's not like she was attracted to him, right? Right. Well, maybe she was. Maybe, just a little bit. Cat groaned inwardly, seeing as she couldn't help the thoughts that she had toward Alex. Hoping he hadn't notice that she was blushing, she busied herself with looking through the bag she had in her hand.

"Hmm, that does sound nice. I think I'll take you up on your invitation." Cat replied with a smile, hiding her eyes. She did want something to drink, because she was thirsty, but she didn't know why she had accepted so quickly. It's not like he was asking her to more than just a drink to apologize! Cat, he's just being friendly. She thought to herself with a nod.

Alex smiled as Cat accepted Alex's invitation. He chuckled a bit to himself because he had seen her blush. Was it because she was thinking about something. Alex had that effect on girls. It happened most of the time after he smile. Alex could not understand women. Alex realized that the same way he thought the girl was cute, that she probably was also attracted to Alex. Alex pulled out a chair for the girl, and then he pulled out his own chair. To sit down. "Two Butterbeers here, please!" He said. Then two butterbeers came to him. He handed one to Cat. "So, what brought you to Hogsmeade, que haces aqui?" Alex asked, adding the spanish because it was a habbit.

The chuckle from Alex, Cat knew that he had probably seen her blush. It wasn't her fault, it was her stupid thinking. And the fact that he had bumped into her to begin with. No matter, Cat followed him to a table, and thanked him when he pulled out a chair for her, sitting down. Taking the butterbeer, she took a sip before she answered. "I came here to get some stuff for my mother. What brings you here?" Hearing the spanish, she chuckled. "Mi español es terrible." She replied honestly, with a grin.

Alex smiled, "Is your mother a muggle?" Alex said, realizing it had been a stupid question. Since her mother wasn't here to shop herself. Then she spoke a bit of Spanish. Alex actually found her accent very cute. Alex smiled and said, "Well.. My mom is from Spain, she actually went to the Wizard school there. So you could say I'm Half Spanish." Alex said. He looked at her, and smiled one more time, just to test his theory if his smile made girls brush. "And also.. I wouldn't say your spanish is horrible, your accent is pretty cute."

Cat shrugged, stretching herself out a bit, the shirt she was wearing rising up as well. It exposed her mid riff, which showed her toned body. Pulling the shirt quickly down, she didn't know if Alex saw anything or not. Not that there was much to see, of course. "She is a muggle, yeah." She didn't mind admitting it, as others often did. "I'm half blood."

Cat was actually impressed to hear about Alex's mother, as she didn't know there were wizard schools, outside of Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons. "That sounds like it would be a fun place to visit, Spain. What made her move here?" Cat didn't know if it would bother him to ask such a thing, but she didn't realize she asked until she did.

"I have an accent?" Cat asked incredulously, shocked to find that out. Seeing him smile made her raise a brow, finding the situation very amusing.
