Avis never took an advantage from the fact that she wasn't the one infected. She felt different again, so far away from others. Everyone who'd she seen or talked to, were all suffering now, and some of them were already dead.
Odd, but it seemed to her that every bad thing that happened to people, she wanted to experience it as well. This fever, painful cough, horrible itching – she just wanted to know how it all felt all together. No, suffering wasn't her hobby, but new sensation and experience – oh how she missed that.
„I don't know if I should be,“ she said quietly, frowning at herself again. Silly little girl. „Ah, I see.“ Avis looked up at him, surprised look in her eyes. Aaron didn't look sick at all. In fact, he looked good in her eyes. Even better than other, not infected people here. Perhaps he used some spells that helped him to keep his shape. She let go of his sleeve when they stopped and Avis locked her eyes at the entrance of Alley.
„Right,“ she said quietly, but wasn't able to hold back her laughter that sounded bizarre on those streets. It was bright and happy, simply not belonging into the corners of Knockturn Alley. „Yeah, well... those two caught me off-guard. Though I might not look like it, I know how to stand up for myself.“ She looked up at Aaron, smiling brightly and thankfully at him. „I don't know how to thank you, sir, and I'd offer you a cup of tea, but something tells me that you're already annoyed of my company. So... what if I'll send you some medicine that should help you with this... illness?“
