Talon turned his head suddenly towards Caiden and had a confused looked upon his face. "I thought Slytherins were a bunch of jerks or something." He had heard from his Grandfather and father that the Slytherins often looked out only for themselves, they were mean, they were jerks, blah blah blah, but they knew how to get things done. Ehh, he didn't think it fit Caiden, but that was his preference. "Whatever floats your boat!" he replied, his positive demeanor on his face again. After a short walk, the group finally made their way to the edge of a dark lake. Talon could barely see anything in front of him, let alone the pitch black cloaks of dozens of other students. "Alright!" the adult yelled again "Every pile onto the boats, 10 per boat!" Looking left and right, Talon saw little shadows moving throughout the dark, the torches barely lighting the way for the kids in the back. "Alright then," Talon said, his positive demeanor suddenly gone "let's go." He slowly walked ahead, looking for a boat to occupy. The one on the far left was full, so the was the one on the right, and that one, and that next. Eventually, most of the boats were occupied. Fortunately, the one in the middle seemed to have a spot for three, maybe even four! "I guess that's ours then," he shrugged, walking quickly towards the boat, sitting down in one of the open seats.
