Being summer time you would have thought Kiara Evelyn Lawrence would be outside enjoying the summer sun. But no, she was inside her room writing a letter to Atticus who she was madly in love with and engaged to be married to. Kiara missed him, and she wrote him every other day telling him how her summer in Hawaii was, although she was having fun in America it wasn't the same without him. Atticus was what completed her and made her whole and without him she was a empty shell. Although her parents told her she needed to get her mind off him and relax and have some fun she couldn't.
"Here Winter girl, send this to Atticus for me please."said Kiara sofly as Winter flew onto her arm. As she walked over towards the window she petted Winter. "Have a nice flight girl, and be careful."said Kiara softly. As her owl hooted she took off through the summer sky and out of sight. Watching intil Winter was a out of sight she smiled before heading to her bed and grabbing her bookbag before heading out to the beach. Her parents had rented a beach house so she wasn't that far from the beach, only a few minutes.
Walking out of her house to meet her parents at the beach Kiara skipped happily down the stairs towards the beach. "What a beautiful day!"said Kiara softly as she seen her parents waving at her. "Oh god, they aren't building another sand castle again!"said Kiara groaning. Shaking her head she walked over towards her parents and smiled. "Hey honey, send your letter to Atticus?"her mother asked her as Kiara nodded.
"That's great Princess, want to help is build a sand castle?"her dad asked her as he nodded the pile of sand they were patting. "Sure dad."said Kiara soflty as she set her bookbag down and set down beside her father.
