Summer had finally started and that meant that she would finally be able to go to her uncle's house for the summer. Reluctantly, Cillian had accepted that his only daughter spend time with his brother and nieces and nephews, and now since Hogwarts was closing, she was headed over there. Her things had already been sent over to Lorcan's house and she wasn't quite sure if any of her cousins had been informed that she was going to br staying with them.
If they weren't, they would sure be in for a surprise. Since Amaris rarely ever visited, thanks to her father, it was likely that some of them wouldn't remember her, but she remembered all of them clearly. After all, they were her favorite group of people. Smiling, she arrived at the house and was automatically let in by one of the maids that tended to the family. Without much words to them, she walked in and looked around.
Impressive.
It seemed small on the outside, but it was huge on the inside. Her uncle always did have good taste in choosing places to live, and the like. He had more taste than her father, that was for sure. "Where are my cousins and uncle?" she asked one of the maids and they told her they were all out and about, and she wasn't sure who was still in the house. Amaris sighed and thanked her before waving her away.
What was she supposed to do for now, until someone showed up? Pouting, Amaris entered the living room and plopped herself down on the large couch. She pulled her drawing pad out from the bag she'd been carrying and she began to draw the part of the room that was laid in front of her.
