"That's what I want to know." he responded to her question. "I've never met him before and I highly doubt my parents met him either. If they had, he would've been around my house at least once before they disappeared." he said. "But I never saw him there, so I think it's safe to assume that they didn't know him." he shrugged and looked off in the direction where the man had gone. Somethnig wasn't right about how he just left. He seemed uncomfortable with Ryo beiing there for some reason, and it wasn't because he wanted to be protective of his daughter. He was sure of that, it was something else ... It had to be.
Ryo looked back at Kayla and shrugged again. "I don't know." he said. "But I intend to find out." his eyes narrowed as he got up from his seat. He wanted to know how this man knew who he was, and he was going to find out, one way or another. Ryo began to walk down in the direction where Kayla's father had gone down. He tried his best to walk in normal human speed, but he found himself walking faster than anyone else there.
