DADA Class 4

Sam entered the room and found a refreshing change of note in the professor from what he'd seen in some of his other classes. He didn't seem like he was about to go and off himself... how lovely. Instead, this professor, unlike so many of his colleagues, looked more irritated about the lack of students in class than about the state of those students.

"Good morning sir," he said as he walking in and took his seat.

Marcus absolutely hated the state-of-the-art teaching that most teachers used. It was so BORING! This class, he wanted the students to actually practice duelling. Practical teaching was the way to go with him.

He slowly picked his head up. Regardless that he was sick and tired, he decided that henhad a class to teach and he would uphold his commitment. "Okay, guys. Today, I want you to practice duelling" Marcus waved his wand and the desk were cleared from the center of the room. "Now. I don't trust all of you to duel properly," he said, eyeing the Slytherins. "I'll pick who goes. Sam, do you wanna go? Pick a partner," Marcus said, knowing that Sam wouldn't duel unfairly. Well, Marcus hoped he didn't pick a Slytherin or he would have to pay extra attention. And THAT was just a bother....

Marcus didn't care much for the Slytherins.

At least he was honest. Destrey couldn't help but chuckle as the professor peered at each green-robed student as though they were just waiting for the chance to strike their peers down.

Of course he chose a Gryffindor to be first dueller, as though no Gryffindor ever cheated. Madman Dakota was probably just jealous his house wasn't as good at it as the Slytherins were.

She sat up straight like one of those prissy little suck ups who always ended up looking constipated when they raised their hands to answer a question did and tried to get Sam's attention. He wasn't as stupid as most Gryffinflaws. Surely he'd realise that after that insult none of the Slytherins in this class would cheat, just to teach Dakota a lesson of his own.

Marcus rolled his eyes at the smug faced wench in the Slytherin robes. "Uh how about we split you guys up into houses. Slytherins vs. slytherins and so on." He knew he had foiled her plan of whatever the hell she was thinking about.

I bet he wouldn't be seeing that smug grin for a while.
