Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Hunting: Loch Ness - Page 6 Empty Re: Hunting: Loch Ness

Mariana's lack of coughing underwater while breathing like a fish made her forget for a while the pressure it was when one was underwater for so many time. The next dose of gyllyweed would be soon necessary if they didn't go to surface and she hoped that someone would soon declare quest done for today so they could go raise their tents and eat something or drink something warm. They swam for a few minutes looking at the plants growing on the floor and finally arrived to something that looked like in the dark, a small space which was probably caused by a rock falling from the ceiling, There was still a lot of space to cover and she wasn't sure whether Angus was up for it, and she would prefer to leave it for tomorrow..

Jack saw some blood leaving Michael's hair, and she reached forward to shake his hair and clear the path so the blood could leave the wound. As she did, she spotted a leaf in his hair. She felt her eyebrows meet and she looked up and gasped. A sparse few plants hung upside down from the celing of the cave. Jack gripped Michael's arm and pointed. She propelled herself down the dark tunnel and saw that as she went, the plants grew thicker and were more varied. Here they were! And they did not have much more time.

Angus needed to use a sort of a slithering motion to slink past a narrow outcropping in the tunnel. Once he pushed through the narrowing of the tunnel and came into a much bigger sort of a room. Something looking rather round. There were some sort of underwater 'growths' here. He didn't know that they exactly qualified as plants. He wasn't sure what the hell they were. He frowned and then drew out a folding bag from his pocket and a switchblade. He looked back at Mari and shrugged. Was this what they were looking for? He didn't know but perhaps taking one of each might work?

If it was one thing Michael was always prepared for it was gathering loot. And, in this case, loot was plants. He had a net bag in his pocket--always. As a practical joke, he'd disguised it long ago as a condom in his wallet--a rather old natty looking foil package. And it had slipped by an egotistical auror one time who laughed delightedly at the thought of the catburglar not able to 'find any." Michael had barely managed to keep a straight face during that arrest. That had been years ago, and he had enjoyed the laugh so much that he'd not given up the transfiguration. Now he changed it to the net bag and got out a black steel switchblade. It was larger and defintely sharper than Angus's. And it responded with a vicious snap when he clicked the switch. If Robert wanted plants, then plants he would get.

Michael recovered and began to cut away the plants. Jack moved a little ahead and found some new plants, one that ended in almost luminescent bulbs. "Wicked," she said, but only a bubble popped out. She used her wand to carefully dig them out from the roots. She glanced back and swam the plants over to Michael, handing them to him and motioning that she was going to continue a little ways ahead.

Mariana took a moment to realize what Angus was doing. The lack of verbal communication was starting to be irritating. Going up was not going to happen for she was waiting for Jack's offical word since she was in charge while they were under here. Once she was aware of Angus's intention she grabbed a few small viles out of her pocket they should do, these plants were small. She took her own dagger that was wrapped in her sock all along, she would do the sorting later.

((Just wanting to get a gauge for how you guys want this to go, do you want me to call this one? I have an idea for the conclusion, and I'm happy to steer you towards that and say the plants you just found were what you were looking for. Don't forget to reply IC this with your OOC reply, I don't wanna derail the thread Wink ))

((Sounds good Jess.))

Jack found another clump of pl;ants that looked like what they were after just a little ways ahead. She cut them loose and glanced down at herself, before stuffing them in her right shoe where she was sure they would stay lodged. She smield and noticed that the water was feeling... wetter... There time was nearing the end. She turned and sped forward, motioning to Michael that it was time to leave. She sped to where they had split and sent a rocked of bubbles down the path Mariana and Angus had disappeared.

Mariana was not expecting Jack's bubble just yet, but when it came it took her about 10 seconds to shove 20 different plants into the vials in her hands and nod to her partner, to Angus. She hoped he would be careful with the belt and swam in front of him this time managing to stuff most of the vials in her pocket letting Angus have the rest and cooperate. Couple of minutes later she was in front of Jack holding her finger up as the sign of success.
