Evalyn looked up at Ryo after a moment. She hadn't seen Alex upon returning, nor was she speaking with Tobias anymore. It just seemed that now, Evalyn was only close friends with the only other creature that she was aware of, Ryo. Gently, she placed a hand on his cheek, and smiled. "Everyone began worried after the.. attack." She bit her lip, remembering all the snow and the blood. Everything was vivid, she would still wake up - and smell blood, but with none on her. "My family wanted me back, afraid if was the one who attacked us years ago. Supposedly they saw him after I left the grounds." She shivered, not from the wind, but of the thought of seeing him.
Evalyn took back her hand and played with her hair. Smiling, she reached for her wand and gently touched the tip to her hair. It would return to its pure snow hair, only for a while as they would speak for now. She smiled and hugged him again. "They wanted to make sure, he didn't find, or see me. That's why .. I'm different for now." She wasn't sure if this would work anymore, if he saw her -- he must've known she was here.
It was so true, the Avalon family was pulling each Veela from that night and placing them basically under house arrest. The teenagers, now adults were located to the winter home, while the kids - including Evalyn, were placed in the spring home. Which was back in the Americas. It was torture for Evalyn, unable to go outside. When they were about to let her go back to Hogwarts, they wanted Evalyn to change her noticeable hair colour. Saying he probably remembered what she looked like over the years. It was a simple spell, but one the family wanted her to keep up until he was dead, or would finally give up.
Grey eyes looked into the Vampire named Ryo's eyes. "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you what happened. They were all paranoid.. But I'm all right. I'm back, and I'll make sure I'll stay." She grinned, already getting comfortable with her old friend, happy to see at least one familiar face within stone walls. Or in their case, the familiar wounds of the Forbidden Forest.
It took the black haired Veela to remember where they were. Most of the snow was melted, and the greens were starting to spiral upwards towards the sun. The leaves were beginning to grow back, causing her to smile. Spring was on its way, and everything would be peaceful once again. She made a mental note to make sure that she would return to these forests, even during the spring season - and most defiantly during the summer.
