Her hair is slightly shorter than shoulder-length and completely straight. Her appearance is often neat and impeccable, almost to the point where one has to wonder if she irons her robes. She is never seen slouching and walks in a very straight, focused way (but at a slow pace).

While she appears to be a very focused person, she is actually a bit indecisive about what she's going to do when she "grows up" probably as a product of her young age. Right now, she figures she'll probably go to work in the Ministry.

PATRONUS: One of her best memories is of her tenth birthday since there was a big party, her parents were paying a lot of attention to her, she received her cat, and her sisters were almost tolerable to be around. It was a perfect day.
DEMENTOR: Being pushed in the mud (and accidentally dragging down a favorite teacher of hers with her) by one of her older sisters.
VERITASERUM: She does not have much in the way of deep, dark secrets. The closest there is, is that when she's alone she baby-talks to her cat.

PERSONALITY: Coral maintains an outside facade to everyone who doesn't know her. This facade is very superficial and not very good at that; pretty much anyone with basic knowledge about people and socialization can tell that it isn't who she really is. She'll be extremely polite and "fake" pleasant and friendly. Anyone who calls her out on it will be met with a "play dumb" act. Those who get to know her would soon realize that she is actually an unpleasant person to hang around with; short and terse, disdainful, arrogant, and cynical. If someone somehow does manage to become her friend and get close to her, she may warm up a bit but she may also become very clingy and possessive (not wanting that person to be friends with anyone else but her; etc.).
Coral isn't necessarily a bad person as she has no desire to harm anyone or see anyone harmed (unless they upstage her or upset her in some way) and has no problem with helping people in need (particularly as she seems to enjoy puzzles and solving problems). Then again, her tendency towards exacting revenge against others and her drive towards success can occasionally blind her. It could probably be said that she is very firmly on a neutral level morality-wise.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Coral was born the fifth daughter to her Muggle-born father Eric and her pure-blood mother Claire in a fairly large wizard town in France. Right away, she stood out from her older sisters and not exactly in a positive way. They were far more beautiful and more liked than she was in the family and in the town, in general. As she grew older, she grew to resent her sisters more and more, and this was no different when her younger sisters popped into the picture. She became more withdrawn and focused on her academic interests for numerous reasons not of the least of which would be in hopes of besting her other sisters at something.
Hogwarts Years: Coral did not spend her first year of magic school at Hogwarts but at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic where the rest of her sisters attend. She was very miserable there, particularly considering that Christelle would frequently pick on her. After executing a particularly nasty revenge plan against her sister, her parents decided that Coral might be better off at a school away from the rest of her sisters, and so sent her to Hogwarts.

RP EXPERIENCE: I've been rping for a few years. I've kind of lost track.
HOW YOU FOUND US: It was on one of those RP Topsites. Thought I'd check it out.
OTHER CHARACTERS: None yet.
PURPOSE OF CHARACTER: Hoping to add some variety to the second-years. I saw that there was a need for more students below fifth year and for Ravenclaws, so... Yeah. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure yet.

Coral looked over the book she was reading and directly into the blue eyes of her cat, Lotus. She stared at him a moment, her gaze seeming intense. Her corners of her lips turned downward into a frown. "I am busy," she said, in a very matter-of-fact tone.
"Mew."
"There is a ball of yarn in the corner. I do not want to play with you, cat."
Lotus stared at her; his tail flicked a little. Coral continued to look directly into his eyes before setting down her book sharply. She got up and picked up the ball of pink yarn and unraveled a little bit of string to dangle. Lotus was immediately at her side, standing on his hind-legs and aiming a paw to bat at the string. Coral wiggled the string, seeming bored. Her dark brown eyes scanned the area around her for a few seconds. Satisfied that no one was in view, Coral started to wiggle the string more enthusiastically. "Who's a good kitty? Who's a good kitty? Aww, does wittle Lotus want the string?"
