a get together between friends

The sun was shining bright that morning, despite the icy breeze that flew through Diagon Alley. Damitrius D'Eath smiled as the breeze blew her hair back and she walked passed many shops looking a couple of them as she passed. She wondered when the shops were gonna take down the Valentine's Day decorations since the day had passed. Still she loved the decorations that were up, they made her feel happy inside.

Damitrius stopped at a shop as she remembered something. She had invited Leslie, Lucy, and even Sapphire to come to lunch with her. She thought it would he rude if she didn't get thwm anything, a Valentine's Day present between friends wouldn't hurt, right? The girl smiled again and entered the shop, a few minutes later she came out holding three small bags that each held something for each of the other girls. It was always nice to get things for your friends.

The Gryffindor held the bags somewhat tightly as she made her way to the cafe where she had told them to meet her. She had heard from her father that Alexis now owned the shop and even though she couldn't stand to see her sister, Damitrius was willing to put up with her if it meant her friends having a good time. Besides a little part of her just wanted to see her big sister again. She smiled half heartedly when she approached the shop and she pushed the door open and quickly stepped in.

Even though she had not wanted to speak to her sister when she did this, Damitrius was glad that she had asked Alexis to reserve a table for the four of them. Even though it had basically just opened again, the shop already had customers in it. As she stood there, she noticed her sister's friend Amanda coming toward her. "Hey there Mitri. Let me show you to the table Alexis set up for you and your friends." Mitri nodded and followed the blonde haired girl to the table. "So you have three more coming right?" Mitri nodded and sat down in one of the seats. "Want me to make you the usual, it is on the menu anyways." Amanda smiled, and Mitri smiled again. "Sure, thanks Mana."

Leslie loved the winter time for everything was so beautiful but boy how she hated how the wind blew and make it even more colder then it was. As she walked down the crowded street of Diagon Alley the wind blew threw her curly blond hair. Careful not to slip on the road Leslie carried her shopping filled with her friends gift in them. Seeing how she didn't see them on Valentine's Day she thought now would be a good time to give them there present. Better late then never as her older brother Andrew would always tell her at times.

As she walked upon Cafe Twin Montez she pushed the door opened as the bell tinkled above her head but she simply ignored it. As she walked in she seen Damitrius watching them to come so they could have lunch together. Leslie was a person who hated being late she always tried her best to be on time for everything even the smallest things. "Hey Dami!"said Leslie softly as she gave her a soft warm smile as she set the shopping bags fill with their gifts on the other side of the table. "Long time no see girlie how are ya?"Leslie asked her softly.

As Leslie to off her fur jacket she appeared to be a white short with a blue jean jacket over with with blue jeans and black boots with fur around the top. It was a present from her brothers much to her dismay seeing how she told them not to send that much money on her. Not that she didn't love the outfit but they didn't have to spend what they did on her. Although it made her feel special when they said she looked just like there mother when she wore the outfit she had on now. Alot of people say she is the splitting image of her mother but she doesn't know for she never seen or met her mother.

Amanda noticed that the bell on the door rang again and she saw a girl about Damitrius' age and she figured that the girl was one of her friends. Before she could get to her, Amanda saw that the other girl had already found Damitrius and she went around to the tables that had requested something from her first. Soon, she was headed toward their table though.

Damitrius saw Leslie enter the shop and she smiled, waving slightly at her friend to come over. "Heya Les. I've been good what about you?" she asked the girl. "Okay Mitri, I've already put in the order for your food." the blonde addressed Damitrius as she approached the table. "Thanks Mana." the girl responded. Amanda then turned to the other girl and smiled. "Hello, you must be..." she stopped for a moment as she tried to remember the names of the girls Alexis told her would come with Damitrius. "Leslie?" she finished her sentence, and glanced at Damitrius. The girl smiled and nodded, and Amanda retired the gesture.

"It's nice to meet one of Mitri's friends. I'm Amanda." she introduced herself. "I call her Mana. She's my sister's best friend." Damitrius explained with a bit of distain in her voice when she said my sister. "That's right, I even remember when you were born. I was very young but I remember how happy your father and Alexis were to have you with them." she said softly, hoping to get some of Damitrius' love for her sister back. "Well anyways, what will you have Leslie?" Amanda asked her as she got out a small notepad to take her order.

Leslie looked at Damitrius and smiled. "That's good Dami, I'm glad to hear that your doing ok."said Leslie softy. She was always releived that her friends were doing good, if they weren't Leslie always tried her best to help them. As she asked how she was doing she shrugged. "I'm doing good, by the way my brothers tell me to tell you hello."said Leslie. As Damitrius introduce the blond hair girl Leslie smiled. "Hello Amanda nice to meet you."said Leslie softly. "Well... nice to met you, if you see Alexis tell her I said hell will you?'Leslie asked Amanda softly.

As she asked what she wanted Leslie looked at the menu for awhile before making up her mind what she finally wanted. "I'll take a cheeseburger with fries and a coke please."said Leslie softly as she closed her menu. "Thankyou Amanda."said Leslie softly as she gave her a soft warm smile as she looked out the window and then at Damitrius. "I wonder where Luc and Sapph are, but knowing Luc she probably late seeing how she's usually always late."said Leslie chuckling. She had to say out of there group her and Dami were the same and Sapph and Luc were the same as well.

But they were all good friends and that what it really mattered to them or well at lease to her anyways but she was sure the felt the same. "It was odd how they were in different houses and stuff but there bond is what keeps them together. Plus Leslie is glad to have frends like them especailly Sapphire who saved her from Dani and her friends. Leslie guessed that when they all started becoming friends but they still have run in with her quite often still. But with them together they do get there revenge and sometimes it's just flat out funny.

Sapphire skipped happily down the streets in Diagon Alley. The icy breeze hit her bright pink face with a bit of force and she merely smiled. The girl was happy that it was finally good enough outside that people could actually walk outside of their houses, or in her case, the castle. Sapphire swung around the bag in her hand as she walked happily, momentarily forgetting that she had presents for her friends in that bag. She heard a snap clinking noise and she remembered that she was carrying a bag, she stopped in her tracks and looked into the bag to make sure that she hadn't broken any of the things inside the medium sized bag. Luckily nothing was broken and Sapphire sighed, she would have to be more careful.

The girl gave a small shrug and continued to skip down the street again. She had been a bit surprised when Damitrius had invited her to lunch at her sister's cafe. She wondered why she had chosen her sister's place to have lunch when she said she couldn't stand to even see her. But, that was a sister thing, she supposed. Sapphire wasn't going to question what Damitrius did. The Hufflepuff gave a small sigh and looked around for the Cafe Twin Montez. She made a repeating 'mm' noise as she looked for the shop.

Finally when she came upon the small cafe, Sapphire gave a small jump of joy and she pushed the door open. As soon as she stepped in, Sapphire saw her two Gryffindor friends and she smiled. Careful not to annoy othwr customers, she waved a bit excitedly at the two girls. Without waiting for someone to lead her to the table, Sapphire walked quickly to the table and took a seat beside Leslie. "Hi guys!" she exclaimed. "How ya been, you two?" she asked immediately afterwards.
