This weather wasn't so bad. Really it wasn't. Sure it was so cold you couldnt feel your fingers at times or you could slip at any moment because the ground was icy. But once you got past that it wasn't bad. Winter was a time where you could have fun with snow. Build snowmen, play with friends, and be with your family. This season was fun if people would just look past the bad parts, like all the storms, and tried to enjoy spending time together.
The seventeen year old Gryffindor began to debate whether or not she should go back to Jeimy. She knew she couldn't leave the girl alone for too long because if she did and someone saw her only with her little friends it could ruin what they were working for. Having her adopt the younger girl after she graduated. That was only one year away now, and they couldn't afford to have anything go wrong. But she knew that Jeimy needed her space sometimes and she wanted to spend time with her friends alone, without her. That was why she hadn't followed the twelve year old to the Three Broomsticks when she had the chance.
Her mind distracted with thoughts of the young Ravenclaw girl, Mariposa wasn't really watching where she was going. She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard someone yell near her. She looked up quickly to find a man standing in front of her, looking furious. She smiled sheepishly, knowing she had nearly bumped into him and apologized quickly. He merely glared at her and walked away still looking quite angry. Mariposa sighed softly as she watched him leave and when she turned back around, she didnt see the piece of ice that was in front of her, and continued to walk. Her foot landing on top of the ice, she slipped and felt herself go up in the air slightly, and soon felt herself falling back down.
