In this scenario James has a special job which does occassionally come with bonuses. For the most part however people will have a set weekly wage and leave it at that. Future plans do involve having an expiry date for some items such as brooms and wands, so that maintenance fees are incurred in the future.

Yeah okay.

However, i don't undersand why your so reluctant to use a very useful points donation system which would make this whole process of salaries much more streamlined.

Because not everyone would be active, and not everyone will make the same amount of money... and we can't base it off how many posts people make, because that's the current system which doesn't work.

I just thought that having records of who'd done what, and when, was a good idea, so as to avoid confusion... besides, we don't do much nowadays anyway, we can cope with a few extra little bits and bobs, can't we?

Members cannot cope with doing more work.

And every person doing a job gets the same salary, no matter if their doing well or not... people doing good work will get bonuses.

Doing a job, yes, but not everyone will be doing the same job will they?
Unless you want a separate group for aurors, teachers, headmasters, ministers, substitute professors, waiters and bartenders and students, i don't see a blanket item working for this, rather case by case is required.

Oh wow. You're being serious.
Well, 20 groups may be less than 100 vaults... but it's messier, and you tell me whether people will actually do their jobs knowing that they will be payed no matter what because everyone gets payed, no matter what

Look at what will make at least consider going and paricipating in jobs, and what will just end up being more and more meaningless point accumulations, like the current scheme...
