Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

He made a slight adjustment to his posture after the man had stepped on him. He watched as the man gave a half-heated apology and continued his search for whatever it might have been. Whight quickly brushed off the run-in and decided it was time to walk around a bit.

There had been an opportunity for Whight to visit the school once before. He was deemed eligible to compete in the Triwizard Tornement. It was a great honor but he did not want the attention and did not want have to prove his abilities to anyone. This was in fact his first visit to the "great" school. He had some hostility towards the school but only because of simple competing rivalries; that was not about to make his act rude or inappropriate towards anyone though.

Whight was already starting to get bored at this party so he felt it would be a good opportunity to take a look around and maybe find some interesting literature. "Excuse me," he said to the next person he came to. "I'm sorry to bother you, but could you point me in the direction of the closest library. I was told I might find it interesting."

Andrian walked over to the food and beverage table and began to help himself to a cup of punch. 'You look absolutely fine,' he told Andrew, chuckling softly as he tried to reassure that his outfit was absolutely fine. He turned back to Andrew and smiled, softly. 'Ah, thats good,' replied Andrian to Andrew as he took another sip of his punch and sighed, nothing like a good, sweet and refreshing drink of punch. He could've helped himself for a bottle of firewhiskey but he wasn't up to getting drunk tonight. Then he heard Andrew ask if he could speak to him later on something important. Andrian couldn't help but stare at him suspiciously for a second or two but he shrugged his shoulder and nodded. 'Sure.' he said, accepting his proposal to speak to him after the party.

Andrian started to ponder on what Andrew wanted to speak to him about but he couldn't put a finger on what he could've possibly wanted to tell him;- guess he had to wait until later. Andrian looked around the mansion for a moment, taking his time to gather all the decoration in the mansion. It was very well done. All of a sudden a grin spreaded across his face as he heard a familiar voice from behind him. He spun his head around to the source of the voice only to find Sophia standing behind him. Andrian looked at Sophia and felt his jaws drop in amazement. She look as beautiful as ever, he felt his stomach leaping with joy and his heart skipping a few beats. 'Hey, sweetie,' he smiled, wrapping an arm around her waist and gave her a quick pash on the lips. 'You look as beautiful as ever,' he told her, flashing a cute smile at her.

Andrian looked over to Jess and he heard his brother greeting him with happiness in his voice. He chuckled and shook his head at his brother as he saw him push the kid harsely into the wall. 'Happy new year brother,' he chuckled deciding to ignore his brother action against the little child. 'Don't you look dashing,' he chuckled again and began to open his arm out in front of him as he waited patiently for a brotherly hug from his dear brother.

Sophia shook her head and laughed her tinkling bell laugh as she seen Jess shoe the kid to the other side of the room. That was Jess Potter for you, if it was someone elese they would probably get told off but Jess was different. "Jess don't throw the poor kid across the room."said Sophia softly as she broke free from Andrian's grip and hugged him. "Happy New Year to you as well, and don't you look sharp tonight."said Sophia giving him a soft warm smile. Sophia looked around and noticed the place was starting to get packed with students and graduates.

As she heard Andrew speak she looked back at him and gave him a soft warm smile and hugged him lightly before lietting go. "Thankyou Andrew that's sweet of you, you look sharp and handsome as always."said Sophia softly. As she listened to every word Andrew said she froze as he mentioned Danny might being alive. "Are you sure Andrew?"Sophia asked him softly. Danny was her and Andrian's best friend and they did alot of adventures together so it made Sophia a bit more hopeful now. Alot of things been going on lately, she needed some hope before it was all lost.

As she turned to Andrian she giggled and smiled at him as his jaw dropped at the sight of her. As he said she looked beautiful night she smiled. "Thankyou love, you look sharp and handsome as always."said Sophia softly as she kissed him on the lips. "I wanted to look nice for you tonight love, I hope I didn't overkill."said Sophia softly. Heck it was the New Year so that meant a new Sophia with a new look and attitude this coming year, Well... lets just say look, she wasn't going to change her attitude for she was always sweet and caring for it was the way she was.

Whight

Aaron strode into the party like a man on a mission. His eyes looked straight ahead as if he had laid eyes on something very important, but really he was trying to stop people from speaking to him. It was, of course, to no avail because as soon as he walked in he found himself speaking with everyone. He had picked out his suit very carefully before coming to the party. Looks were a very important thing and he refused to go out into public without looking his very best.

He wrapped up the conversation he was having with a man who had recently purchased a wand from his shop. He went on and on about how impressed he was and Aaron did nothing but smile and reassure him that it was his pleasure. After he finished, he made his way to the bar and ordered himself a water. He was not a drinker, preferring to be in control of himself at all times. That and he gave the term lightweight a whole new meaning.

As he was waiting on his drink a man he did not know approached him. "The library?" Aaron responded, a puzzled look crossing his face. "Tell me, what kind of man spends his time in the library when he is at a perfectly good party?" He said with a smile and gave him a slight slap on the back. Aaron hated being social and talkative, but it was all needed. "Firewhisky," He said to the bartender after he returned with his water. "For the gentleman here who needs a bit of perking up." He said with a grin, motioning to the man who had just approached him.

Of all the people Whight could have ran into at the party it turned out to be one that he knew, probably the only one outside of the professor. Of course Aaron had not recognized him and at times it humored him when those who knew him could never identify him. He let Aaron carry on with his charismatic bit while he moved closer to the bar.

Whight never drank, but out of courtesy he exchanged his finished glass with the Firewhisky with no intentions of actually drinking it. "You know me, always wanting to study," he said with a smile. "It's good to see you out for once. If you wish to continue to act like we don't know one another just say the word," he finished with a quiet smooth voice while having never really looked at Aaron but with a glance. He did not speak directly toward Aaron because he wanted to continue studying the room while they spoke as to spot possible ease droppers. He let a moment of confusion swell in Aaron and then he turned at the opportune moment, made eye contact with the man, shifted his appearance in and out of it's original state so quickly that only someone as close as Aaron could spot. He took a false drink of his Firewhisky to hide what he could of the morph and then took a look around the room once more. No one had seen the change. Everyone was far to busy with self-indulgence.

Whight looked about the room hoping to spot Silvyr close by. It would be the perfect time to see how Aaron and Silvyr did their work, if any, in scenarios such as this.

Silvyr was not quickly seen.

Aaron made no notion that he knew Whight when he started to speak to him. Usually, he would have grinned and quite enjoyed the fact that Whight was out in disguise, but he did not want lower his image at all. Sure, it would not have hurt him at all, but it was all political for Aaron tonight. He did not care for parties at all, but these were things he had to do.

"It is not polite to pretend to drink something that another man bought for you." Aaron said, a bit of resentment in his voice. Not because he was angry at Whight, but because he realized he really needed to discover a way to identify people who could shapeshift. It became very apparent that Aaron could walk into a trap or give information away without even knowing it. A few things flew through his mind, but he shoved them away as quickly as possible. He would make out a list of things later.

Aaron smiled and waved at someone he knew who was passing by but quickly returned to Whight. "I suppose if you do not want to be social, it would be wise to wander around Hogwarts and get a feel for the place." He smirked and looked at Whight, knowing full well he had attended Durmstang and not Hogwarts. "Who knows, maybe you will discover something interesting." He smiled brightly and then returned his eyes to the party, seeing if he could spot anyone he wanted to speak too.

Roxi was having no fun.

This was unacceptable.

Where were all the hotties?

Honestly, Roxi had come to this party to get her mind off... things. By that she meant Hogwarts boys. They were getting on her nerves. She was tired of getting felt up in the common room. She was tired of her partners in class playing with her hair and finding any excuse to touch her. She did not mind affection, but she was getting irritated. She could not keep up with the teenaged hormones.

Not to say Roxi was the type to run off with a man thirty years her senior and get a sugar daddy. But there were some attractive male graduates here, and she would not mind a nice talk, some flirting. Something. Roxi was a goofball, but she was not immature. She could be, when the situtation called for it. She wasn't the smartest cookie but she was not obnoxious.

Usually.

There were a few people here she wouldn't mind a conversation with but the bachelor band of three men caught her attention. However, it seemed like a sketchy situation to throw herself into. She doubted she was going to do much during this party. She found a chair and flopped down in it, drinking her alcohol, itching for a cigarette, watching (and appreciating, if you got her drift) the talking men.

Marcus climbed the stairs casually, ready for a good night. Just by the look in his eyes, you could tell he was having one of those nights. So it started here. Marcus sat on a stool in front of well-lit bar. "Rum," he said simply to the bartender. He looked to his left and saw some people, obviously here for the same intentions. Except for the students. Well the kids these days would probably drink underage.... Then something came into Marcus' head. He was also underage. The set age was 21. Ah who gives a crap! he thought, majorly pissed with himself.

With in a matter of minutes, his drink was here. Marcus took it in 1.2 seconds. He coughed once but the screamed with excitement. "Yeah!" he said loudly. "Another."
