Nothing was ever normal in her life. Before she knew she was a witch, her life was a lie, she lived as a muggle having no knowledge of what she really was. But when she found out that she wasn't a muggle, that she was a witch, she thought she was a muggleborn, same for her sister, but no. No, it turns out that they are purebloods. They are the kind of people they hated the most, they are part of a Death Eater family. And the worst part of it all, their parents aren't dead. It wasn't fair, no one that she knew had to go through that. No one understood what it was like to live a lie for so long, for thirteen years. Thirteen years in which she had to take care of her sister by herself, hiding from anyone who would want to take them to an orphanage.
To make matters worse, not that long ago, there was an incident during Halloween in which she almost lost the most important person in her life. Hitame had been so scared in that brief time where her sister was in so much danger. Sure she was safe now, but it bugged Hitame that she had been so helpless during that time, she couldn't do anything to save her sister. Naomi wasn't sure what had happened and how she had gotten out of that danger, it seemed her mind erased it from her consciousness, and as far as she knew Hitame had saved her. But that wasn't true and no matter how many times she told Naomi she had done nothing, she wouldn't listen, her mind told her that Hitame saved her and nothing would change her mind. Hitame knew it wasn't true and she needed to make things right with the person who actually saved her sister. She had to make things right with Brian.
That's why when he had told her to meet him in the clock tower, she felt she had to go. She could've easily ignored the request, but she hadn't. For some reason, besides the fact that he had saved Naomi, Brian had been on her mind since they were at the Haunted House. Every time she thought about him she blushed for some odd reason, and she always smiled at her thoughts of him. She didn't know what she should wear to meet up with him, but she didn't want to make it seem like she was making a big deal out of seeing him. So she decided to just wear clothes that were normal for her, but they were the new clothes that she had been saving for Christmas, when she would see Sophia again. She had plenty of other clothes she could wear anyways. Before she left for the tower, Hitame made sure that the cut of her cheekbone was covered as much as possible. It had been made a while ago, and now it was a scar, a scar she was always trying to hide.
Taking a deep breath, she stood in front of the door that led to the tower and she stared at it for a moment before she entered it. Her footsteps were soft and quiet as she walked up the stone stairs and she opened the door slowly. Shutting the door behind her, a sudden fear took her over and she stood at the door, her hand still on the handle, staring across the tower at Brian. Her other hand immediately began to come up to her cheek, trying to cover the scar but she held it back, behind her back.
