GENERAL APPEARANCE: Sapphire has fire red hair and olive green eyes. Her hair color, is like her personality. Sapphire's eyes really contrast with her hair which made them pop out at times, depending on the clothes she wears. She is the kind of person who likes to mix and match the clothes she wears, which basically causes her to look like a rainbow threw up on her.

There are also times when she likes to wear clothes that rockers wear. Y'know the spiked collar, and tags, and stuff like that. She usually gets like that when she listens to rock songs. But other than that she's usually very colorful and sometimes wears things that are too small for her.

Sapphire knows her father wanted a boy instead of a girl, and she fears that he won't love her because of this. He doesn't show it, but Sapphire thinks he does.

PATRONUS: Writing her first song
Seems kind of lame doesn't it? Well it wasn't to Sapphire, on the day she wrote her first song, her father gave her, his first real sign of affection toward her. It was the happiest day of her life so far.

DEMENTOR: Hearing her father argue with her mother over what she is
Sapphire accidently overheard her parents fighting over the fact that she was a girl and not a boy. Her father blamed it on her mother, saying it was her fault because most of the children from her mother's family are girls.

VERITASERUM: She wants to be a boy
That's how far she'll go to get her father to truly love her. She wants to be a boy, to interact more with her father and to get him to like her.

PERSONALITY: There's two ways to describe Sapphire. Hyper and weird.
Hyper
Sapphire is quite the energetic little girl. She loves to run around and she just has too much energy for her own good. She jumps around everywhere and she loves to be outside. Fall is her favorite season because of all the falling leaves and the wind. Anytime she is outside in the fall she jumps into piles of leaves and makes 'leaf angels'. Since the wind blows a lot in the fall (and winter) and her hair goes into her face a lot she stares at the strands of hair, and tries to bite the strands.
Weird
Sapphire's personality can change at random times, sometimes. She will usually be hyper and happy, but there are times when she'll seem like she's depressed, and that's when she'll wear rocker clothes. This usually happens when she listens rock music.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Sapphire was born on a cold winter day on January fifth, 2010. Nine months before she was born, her father had been so happy to find out that his wife was pregnant with his first(and only) child. Although he thought his child was going to be a boy. Everything pointed in the direction that she was going to be a male, but something must have happened that she came out as a female. Nine moths later on the day of her birth, Sapphire's father was very disappointed to find that his child wasn't a male.

During her first months of life(up to her first year) he ignored everything she did, and he didn't want to acknowledge her as his daughter. But something happened on her first birthday that caused her father to change his attitude toward her. He began to spend time with her and call her daughter, but by the time she was about eight years old, Sapphire knew something was up with her father. He tried to treat her as best as he could, for she was his only child, but there was always something that distanced him from her. And on her ninth birthday, she finally found out what that was. On the night of her ninth birthday she overheard her mother and father arguing over the fact that she was a girl. Her father was blaming it all on her mother, saying it was her fault that she came out as a girl. Because of all the pain she felt from her father's words, she locked herself in her room and began to write in a notebook she had, and those words she wrote down, turned into... a song.

Hogwarts Years: She never showed her father the song she made on her ninth birthday, even though it expressed everything she felt toward his rejection of her gender. But during the summer break after her first year she was finally ever to gather up enough courage to show her father the song that expressed all her hurt feelings toward him. She braced herself for whatever it was that her father was going to do to her and instead of just showing him the song, she sang it to him.

His reaction wasn't what she had expected though. Instead of reprimanding her for what she wrote about him, he just smiled and hugged her. He even said he loved her. This caused her heart to flip with joy and from then on everything she did, was just so much happier. A little too happy for some people. But Sapphire didn't care, she was just so happy and from then on she did everything to the best of her abilities in both school and in the random things she loved(s) to do.

Adulthood: Not there yet.

All good, though some of the likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses were a little weird. It says she's loyal but craves to leave her family, and it says she craves to leave her family but she's deadset on winning her father's affection... just found that a little odd.

But the basework was good, she sounds like an interesting character.

It sounds kind of messed up right? But I meant that she's basically loyal to her friends more than her family, and she wants to leave her family but she doesn't want to have a bad relationship with her father in case she ever needs him later on...
