Fleur is both vain and modest. She knows herself to be beautiful, but she does not particularly like it. More so, she dislikes the attention she gets form males other than her husband due to her Veela heritage, however she does not believe that she could bare to not be beautiful.

PERSONALITY: Fleur is known to be blunt, and often rather arrogant. She is very independent and knows that she wants. She is not afraid to make her thoughts known to anyone and everyone around her. Though it is less prominent in her adult years, Fleur is rather vain in her beauty. She knows the control that she has over others, males in particular and if she can use it for her gain, she will. She is also loving and motherly, caring greatly for her family and friends. She has shown on many occasions her want to help others. When she is unfamiliar with something, she often finds its flaws not because she truly dislikes it, but because it makes her feel as though she has the upper hand.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Fleur Delacour grew up with her mother, father and younger sister Gabrielle in the French countryside. She and her sister were very close to one another, and their parents were very caring toward them. The girl was very pretty and had many friends, proving to be popular amongst boy in particular. Fleur was extremely excited to attend Beauxbatons for many years before she finally did in 1988.
Beauxbatons Years: At the age of eleven, Fleur began her magical schooling at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in France. The girl left her younger sister behind and missed her terribly until she joined her later years of schooling. In October of 1994, Fleur went with a selection of students from her school to Hogwarts for the first Triwizard Tournament in hundreds of years. She placed her name in the Goblet of Fire and was selected by the cup to be the Beauxbatons Champion.
Fleur participated amicably in the tournament. In the first task, in which the champions were required to obtain the golden egg, she faced the Common Welsh Green which she enchanted into a sleep. She passed the task, with only a burnt skirt. Her sister, Gabrielle was taken to the bottom of the Hogwarts lake for the second task, and though Fleur was unable to recover the girl and in turn finished last in the task, Harry Potter did. This was the beginning of a good, platonic relationship between Fleur and Harry. In the third task, she was unable to reach the end of the maze, and was quite upset at the death of Cedric Diggory.
After the tournament was over, Fleur returned to Beauxbatons and completed her schooling, in which she received respectable marks.
Adulthood: After graduating from Beauxbatons, Fleur chose to move to England and took a job at Gringotts Wizarding Bank to improve her English. It is there that she met William Weasley again since the two first met in 1995. She developed a friendship with him, and the two began dating. After knowing each other for a year, the pair became engaged much to the disapprove of Ginny and Molly Weasley and the delight of the male members of Bill's family. She stayed with the Weasleys during the summer of 1996, with the intent of getting to know her future in laws better. It wasn't until after the battle of the Astronomy Tower that they fully accepted her.
She later took the poly juice potion in order to become Harry Potter to help ensure his safe passage from his residence and later participated in the battle that ensued on the same night. She cried for the death of Alastor Moody. On August 1st, 1997 she and Bill married in the Weasley's backyard. The celebrations were interrupted by a patronus from Kingsley Shacklebolt, and in turn the pending Death Eater attack. Fleur and her new husband were eventually released by the 'Ministry' and moved into a house called Shell Cottage. Here she spend her first Christmas as a married woman with her husband and his youngest brother, Ronald. She later helped care for a group of escapees from Malfoy Manor.
She later fought in the Battle of Hogwarts alongside her husband, his family and the Order of the Phoenix. They both survived and she was upset by the lose of so many friends and family members. Since the war, she become the mother of three children: Victoire, Dominique and Louis Weasley.
