I shall call you Squishy!!

A shy Hufflepuff firstyear walked out of the Study Hall, it was very crowded and she didn't get to study or do any of her homework, Fallon Parker looked around for a place to do Charms homework. She sighed, carrying her Charms Homework with her, she walked outside, Fallon saw a giant lake and ran to it.

Fallon put down her homework papers, the short firstyear sat crossed legged at the front of the lake she raised her her quill and put the homework in her lap and started writing, Fallon didn't see a tentical pop out of the lake! Oh the Hufflepuff didn't actually notice.

Fallon then saw it and put her quill and homework to the side and smiled at the Squid, "You should be my only friend here, I shall call you Squishy! cause your so cute!" Fallon got on her knees and reached her hand toward the lake so she can touch it, Someone could probably stop her..

Kevin had been touring Hogwarts on his free time to get used to the castle. So far he had had a bad encounter in the Trophy with a fourth or fifth year Ravenclaw. He really didn't hope to meet her again. He had also been in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. Kevin guessed he had earned her trust and companionship. And many other places that he didn't want to wander into again.

This time he wanted to go to (dun dun dun!) The Forbidden Forest. After classes were over for the day, he walked outside onto the grounds. It was sunny out. He guessed it was about to be the last bit of sun he could see before fall and winter. He made sure no one was watching and started to scurry over to the trees. He was passing by the Great Lake when he saw a girl trying to touch the water. Kevin decided to ditch his plan of going to the Forbidden Forest and walked over to the girl.



"Hey," he said to her trying to get the conversation started.

Fallon kept trying to get to pet Squishy, she almost fell iinto the water but held her balance. If she fell she would get her uniform wet. But ah well... "Hey," A male voice said. Fallon turned and looked at a boy who looked about the same age as her. He had curly brown hair, and it looked like he had green or blue eyes, The hufflepuff wasn't sure.

Fallon smiled. "Hello," She replied standing up. "The names Fallon, Fallon Parker. Hufflepuff and firstyear, and you are?" She asked the boy. She wondered what else to say, she waited for the boy's response.

Kevin seemed to have startled her. "Hi. I'm Kevin, Kevin West. I'm in Ravenclaw and also a first year," he said to her smiling. He saw that she was doing her Charms homework. "So. I see that you've found out about the giant squid. People swim with it too," Kevin told her, "Why are you out here by the lake? I mean the study hall was open if you wanted some quiet. I guess we need to get outside sometimes" he said. He took a seat next to her and threw a rock into the lake.

All of a sudden, a giant squid tentacle shot out of lake at lightning speed and grabbed the rock down into the base of the lake. "Whoa! Did you see that?" Kevin said to Fallon, "I guess everyone's suspicions are over. It's true." Kevin picked his bag up and got his homework out. "Gotta do Charms too. Need any help?" he asked her.
