The stairs were to much. She couldn't take it anymore. People stared at her like they knew something was wrong with her, but couldn't put a finger on it. After putting up with the library, and her common room, a study room, and even an empty classroom, she got fed up and left the school, heading out onto the grounds with her bag slung over her shoulder, her scarf still tied securely around her neck, an odd accessory, seeing as it was freaking hot outside. The last day of heat before fall took over completely, and Rise was outside. She didn't like going outside, seeing as it kept reminding her of the Forbidden Forest, which was where she would spend her first full moon while at school in. It scared her, thinking of walking in there willingly before the transformation, knowing she would be so close to other people who even under the wolfsbane potion were still a danger to the werewolf. Rise didn't know how to act about it, and it scared her greatly.
Rise sat down heavily under a tree, staring at her feet, and then looking up at the lake. The Giant Squid was lazing in the warmer water towards the top of the lake, and was waving it's tentacles around in the air, cooling itself off as it let itself get warmer at the same time. Rise smiled slightly at the sight, and then looked up at the tree. It was her favorite tree, near the water, but not near enough that many people sat under it. Most people chose either further back to be away from the water, or closer to be nearer it, this one was right where no one wanted to sit, and she loved it. Rise carefully pulled out a book and decided to do some light reading, knowing that it would be beneficial to herself if she got some work done while she was in such a flighty mood. She hated feeling like this, but with the full moon coming up.. it scared her, and she knew she needed to be well rested and caught up with homework, which she had gotten in advance from many of her teachers, so she could take a couple of days away from school in order to rest up after her long nights outside.
