Never let it be said that Lana Di Angelo was an organized girl. In fact, never let it be considered that Lana Di Angelo, from disheveled head, to hackneyed backpack, was anything CLOSE to organized. But, when it all came down to it, Lana was always where fun was to be had, and she certainly showed up for the most interesting class in the school- Michael Tremaine's Practical Magic Workshop. And thank goodness that she knew a thing or two about fashion, because, taking the others into consideration, it was a good idea for a girl with street smarts to join the crew on its perilous venture into the muggle world.
But, like any similarly predisposed student, Lana was running behind schedule. She practically leaped down the stairs, and banked a hard right into the classroom, and managed to slip in as the Professor finished his introduction, and moved on to the rules of the class. Great, now Lana was BOUND to follow them, being present for the explanation. Magical Law. Was there any way out of it? Then again, if she hadn't shown up, in her Butterfly sweater, and worn-down jeans, perhaps she wouldn't be allowed to attend. That would've been disastrous.
Still, Lana was there, standing attentively, right by the door as the Professor passed her by. She averted her eyes, half knowing that he would notice her tardiness, half hoping he'd just write it off because she heard the important liability stuff.
