((Oh I loved that, just FYI, the pretentiousness is IC only, I'm actually really loving how this is turning out.))
Sam shot a scathing look at the girl and felt his face screw up as he listened to her speak, each wrong word coming out after the other, filling the air with nothing but bad sentiments.
"And who was in control during that time?" He shot back quickly, cocking his head in defiance to her words. "The Order had no control or hand in the school at that point, they were working as much as "Grindelwald" is," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he spoke the word, and rolled his eyes. "That was why they turned up, you said it yourself, there was more than just drugs and pregnancies, students were dying. Weren't you even there when that poor girl was strung up at the front gates, without any sort of reaction on the staff's behalf?" He said, his voice rising a little at the memory of Sage hanging from the school's gates.
"I don't think anyone can deny it'll be safer this year, but for whom? Didn't you read those posters? If they're destroying muggle items, it's just one step away from destroying muggle-borns, don't you think?" He asked, his voice returning to a casual, smug tone.
"But I must admit, you have a point there, I'm yet to hear anything from the former Minister about this all... maybe he's chickening out, it's a bit sus in my opinion," he said with a shrug. "His reforms in St. Mungos were brilliant though, there's no denying that, healthcare for our lot has come leaps and bounds in the past few - oh hey there Andrew," he said, looking up as the door slid open.
"I like your kitten, by the way," he added, looking at Lysander. "What did you say your name was, sorry?" He asked, "How rude of me, please forgive my poor manners, ignoring you while I argue about politics," he said, rolling his eyes a little in spite of himself.
