We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Minister for Magic sacked and replaced Empty Minister for Magic sacked and replaced

After an outrageous increase in letters sent to this Daily Prophet concerning our Minister of Magic, I am happy to announce that his reign is over. The ex-Minister of Magic, Robert Lupin, has officially been voted out of office, and replaced by a man who’s justice and tolerance for all, stretches long into the past. A man we all respectfully call Gillert Grindelwald. His voice for the Greater Good, has inspired many people, from Albus Dumbledore, to every famous leader in history.

After his appointment, there was a roar of approval from the Ministry, one so loud that officials were placed so that the noise wouldn’t concern Muggles. The man himself spoke in front of the public. Many supporters were quoted as saying: “It’s about time a new minister has stepped up, crime has grown to be outrageous these days!” And another as saying: “Grindelwald for Minister! I knew it was him all along! I’m so happy!”

The new Minister spoke in front of a large assembly in the atrium, speaking about what he plans to do during his time in office

"Honesty, is the backbone to our society, and I will strive to make every wrong, every cover-up that the previous administration ever made, be eradicated from our government, and that their stain be wiped from our nation's record forevermore," was the first promise he made, one which our country has been in desperate need of for years

He went on to say:
“For instance, no longer, will we sit idly by why the criminal 'Vigilante' group known as the Order of the Phoenix parade around the country, attacking schools, and acting as if they were the true and rightful controllers of government. No longer will they cloud our decision making. No longer will they even continue to exist," he then promised, playing on the thoughts which have run deep through our community, ever since the reckless invasion of Hogwarts early in the summer, and even sewn as far back as when the Order first invaded the ministry, overthrowing the government for reasons still unclear

Eradicating the cover-ups, righting wrongs. Grindelwald will help shape our future into the best it could possibly be. For when there comes a time to call for change, we know that the Greater Good, will always prevail.
