“We are golden...we are not what you think we are...we are golden, we are golden...lalalalalalalalalalalaalaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Breaking out into a run, Millie reached out with both hands and curled her fingers around the bar. She locked her wrists and vaulted the turnstile. She gave a high pitched scream of delight as she launched upwards, feet first into the air. Her scream turned into laugher as she let her eyelids slide shut over her bright blue gaze. As she sailed through the air, Millie straightened herself out and pointed her feet towards the ground in preparation for her landing. Millie hit the ground and took off at a run. She vaguely heard the calls from her companions but she paid them no mind as she weaved through the crowds that were milling around the circus area. Millie ran, bounced, hopped and slid her way around them until she finally burst free of the bodies that seemed to have an unconscious urge to group themselves together. Millie liked to stand tall and proud by herself - no one was going to obscure her in a crowd.

Skidding to a stop, Millie gave another jump, propelling herself into the air again, and landed with her feet shoulder width apart, her hands on her hips and her head inclined upwards.

“I,” She declared to no one in particular. “Am Peter Pan!”

Obviously she wasn’t Peter Pan; otherwise she would have been ginger, would have had a thing for tights and would have been currently fighting pirates. Millie happened to like pirates rather much and would have loved to have gone onto a pirate ship and sail the seven seas. Unfortunately though, she was neither Peter Pan nor a pirate. She was one ever so slightly mythical thing though. She was a witch! That was something she supposed. It meant rather little though when, as a witch, she would find herself being threatened with expulsion and Mugglefication if she practiced magic outside. It was pretty crap really; really crap. Whatever, though. She was Peter Pan at this moment in time - she didn’t need to worry about such ridiculousness.

However, upon realising that no one was really paying much attention to her, Millie frowned and dropped her hands down to her sides. She took a step forward, bringing her feet together once more, and survey her surroundings. It seemed she was at a circus. Why, she did not know. She didn’t exactly know whose idea it had been now but she had Galleons in her pocket and a thirst for adventure so Millie did what any other teenage girl in her position would have done -- she went in search of some cotton candy.

Millie, the talkative little swot she was, began to interact with Mr. Cotton Candy Man almost immediately upon plonking herself down in front of his stool. She pretended to look around before finally bringing her eyes to his face and bobbing a little where she stood. Millie put her hands into her pockets and fiddled absently with the silver lighter that was buried deep under a pile of Sickles. She hummed the rest of the notes to the song as she stood there, tapping her foot against the base of the stall. Mr. Cotton Candy Man looked at her over the rim of his glasses and cleared his throat, prompting her to fix her eyes back on him again.

“HELLO!” Millie exclaimed brightly. “Hi! I’m Millie! Do you think I could have some cotton candy? Can I have...actually, I want a lot so how about I-” before Mr. Cotton Candy Man even had a chance to protest, Millie vaulted the counter of the stall and plopped herself down beside him. She grinned wickedly at him and reached up to pat him on the cheek before rushing around, grabbing this, that and everything in between. “I like cotton candy? Do you like cotton candy? Well, obviously you like cotton candy - otherwise you wouldn’t be selling it. Do you like the circus? I like the circus? It’s weird but it’s nice. I suppose it is a place to make a quick buck. Okay...where are the drooballs? I swear to Merlin the sign said that you sold drooballs as well.”

Outfit.

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Trenton Thomas Sun Jul 31, 2011 10:27 am

Trenton Thomas eyed the circus grounds lazily. It was his usual look. Mother would, at times when she had the time to notice, chide him for putting up such a lazy front in his eyes and his grin. Oh, how she would ask him to wipe his silly grin off and be her bright young boy, like the amazing Dean Thomas that she married. Trent really did not care much about the reputation his father had established among the generation before him. He had only one hero -- Harry Potter. Still, it was mere admiration for how he defied odds and rules to become a hero. Trent was not very interested in emulating Uncle Harry, as his parents would usually remind him to, hopeful that their son would learn a thing or two from the life of young Harry Potter.

So we were talking about Trent's usual lazy look. Well that was what his parents thought. They were, unfortunately, wrong with their diagnosis. It was not a lazy look, it was a dreamy look from the lack of sobriety. Blame it on the muggles. The boys in his neighbourhood, the ones Trent call his homeboys, had begun tripping on whatever they could get their hands on. Trent was introduced to the cigarettes, drugs, and some alcohol, that they managed to obtain from older kids at muggle school. Despite hiw special Hogwarts really is, Trent is intrigued at the thrills one can get in muggle school. Perhaps he was missing out, but he will never trade being a wizard just to attend muggle school.

At the age of sixteen, Trent had began to have a steady supply of poison from his homeboys. His parents were too busy working at the Ministry and getting involved with the Order to pay attention to their only child. It worked for Trent though. He was not about to give up his keys to the fairy city just for some lame parental attention. Grinning to himself as he surveyed the bustle at Vendors Lane, Trent tossed his rollie away, tried to make a smoke hole from his last inhale of the rollie, and proceeded to enter the crowd.

Someone gave a nonsensical exclamation to the air, but Trent would not have noticed her if she did not happen to be standing near him. With the effects from the weed, Trent laughed out loud, imagining Peter Pan flying around him before thinking that he was Peter Pan himself. And suddenly he spotted his Wendy. Trent opened his eyes a little bigger when he caught sight of a brunette with the most amazing pair of ......... eyes. If he was anymore gone, he would have followed her with his arms raised, as if in flight, because he was Peter Pan flying after Wendy!

Trent took a few decent steps towards the brunette instead. Thank Merlin he would not embarrass himself by feigning that act of flight. Trent lost interest in the stranger as quickly as he gained interest in her. He turned to where he had seen Melissa Finnegan stand at a moment ago, but the space was as empty as that rollie that he had tossed away earlier. A puzzled look obviously decorated his face. And then he spotted his friend. She was harassing a very worried-looking man who stood at the cotton candy booth. Trent chuckled at the silliness if the scene before walking towards it. He felt happy, very happy. It could be unnaturally induced, but weed to Trent was as natural as one could go.

"MOPHEAD." Trent had gotten behind the Finnegan girl. The friendship with the Finnegans was a long-standing one. Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnegan, what other explanation does one need? Of course their children were going to grow up playing and learning together. It helped that they were all in Gryffindor. Initially, when Trent still found girls as eeky as poo, he was closer to the boy part of the Finnegan twins. Somehow, over the years, Millie had become the closer twin. There was simply no explanation about that.

"MOPHEAD MOPHEAD MOPHEAD ---" Trent continued to exclaim the girl's nickname, a seeming attempt to annoy her, but really was his language of affection for her.

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Melissa Finnigan Sun Jul 31, 2011 11:50 am

Brother-Bot was pissed, as per usual. From where she was stood behind Mr. Cotton Candy Man, Millie could see the favourite child wandering around the circus like a lost sheep. He looked genuinely put out and he, like the skitty little sod he was, was jumping to and fro in vain attempts to get away from the women that were trying to come onto him. Millie wasn’t completely blind - or deaf - and she knew that her brother was, quote, ‘sexier than Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter snogging in the boy’s toilets’. Honestly, Millie had never seen that occur and she was kicking herself mentally all the time for missing it. Her brother was attractive in his own right, though. It was just a shame that he was such a twat.

Despite the fact that it would have made sense, Millie actually hadn’t suggested that they go to the circus. She’d been busy with things. It wasn’t particularly important but she’d been adequately entertained. Rigging the floorboards underneath her brother’s bedroom carpet from the room below was what she’d been spending her evening doing. The only problem was that her father had walked in on her before she’d actually finished so there was no way she could make holes in the ceiling and a lot of magical gunpowder look casual and normal. Seamus walking in on her rigging Brother-Bot’s stuff to explode was almost as mortifying as walking in on her parents having sex; or worse, as mortifying as them walking in on her having sex. The latter didn’t happen often in the house. She wasn’t stupid and wasn’t nearly as honest as Brother-Bot who needed to tell mummy and daddy everything. He understandably flew off the handle when he came in behind their father and it was clearly too late to feign ignorance.

“Is that your brother over there?” Mr. Cotton Candy Man asked, nodding towards where Brother-Bot was furiously trying to shake off his persistent lady (and gentlemen, Millie was pleased to note) friends.

Millie scoffed, a grin twitching her lips upwards. “Noooooooooo...” She shook her head, grinning wickedly as she watched her brother fight off woman after persistent woman. “He’s not real. He’s just a mirage that looks like me. Please, if he was my brother then he’d be lining them up, choosing the best two and finding the most comfortable flat surface. They brought him home but I think they sent the wrong baby. He’s a complete nutcase.” Millie shook her head, barely stifling the giggles that were threatening to erupt from her chest. “Don’t worry, friend. He’s getting therapy for it and eventually the healers will come to a decision as to whether cutting off his bollocks at birth was the best choice to have made.” Millie shrugged and held up her hand, she brought her index finger and her middle finger together and made scissor motions, the grin on her face widening every second. “Lum se se eunuch-y...snip-snip.”

“MOPHEAD!”

As familiar as the voice was, that didn’t stop the scream of fright and the jump of surprise that Millie displayed at the sound of Trent’s voice. The scream didn’t hurt - it only made a few people look at her strangely. Jumping had been a bad move because she caught her foot on the stall and flipped over the counter, her legs and arms flailing through the air, and smacked down onto the ground, her feet slamming down on the counter. Millie groaned and let her head fall back onto the grass. She sighed heavily and threw her arm up into the air, her middle finger displayed for the world to see - mostly Trent though.

“Screw you!” She exclaimed as her giggles finally pierced the air. “That was low...you interrupted my very apt description of Brother-Bot! Mr. Cotton Candy Man...show my darling Trenton exactly what knobface is!”

The Cotton Candy Man hesitantly made the same gesture Millie had moments before and the girl collapsed into another bout of giggles.

“How are you, baby?” Millie asked, folding her arms behind her head. Well, if she was going to be laid there then she may as well be comfortable. “Is someone not quite sober?”

Trent did not hold back his laughter. Heck, he never did hold back on anything. It was almost as if holding back was never his skill to possess. Trent did not care, though. He would do whatever he wants, whenever he likes. To rebel against shaking heads was even more fun than to conform to expectations. At the sight of Millie's reaction from receiving the shock treatment from his greeting, Trent let out loud bellows of laughter. This attracted some kind of attention to him, but he was ignorant about the effect that he was causing. Instead, he laughed a pitch higher when Millie finally landed on the floor with the perfect pose of reply for him -- the middle finger.

"Screw me?!" He began a little louder than he should. "Right here, right now? OKAY!" Swiftly, Trent landed on his back, next to Millie, although he merely turned his body to face hers, stopping at that. With an elbow propped up to support his head, Trent directed his lazy grin to the girl. His eyes trailed reluctantly up to the cotton-candy-man to see the man cooperate with Millie's request, before Trent returned them back to gazing at the blond's face. It was not a gaze with perversion as its intent. It was a gaze fueled by the daze in him brought about by the drug.

"I'm fineee, baby. Very good, in fact, baby. What were you doing here flirting with Mr Candy when I was not looking? Nope, Trenton is not very happy about that, and so is brother bot." Trent had a limited vision clouded by his daze. He would not have spotted the difficulty his friend would be facing with the ladies, a lot older ones, simply because the guy was not anywhere too near. Besides, it was not as if his mind had the space now to accommodate a slightly unnecessary male in thought.

Because the boy had now laid himself beside the girl, albeit in a seemingly decent manner, the duo were getting strange stares from strangers. Some had wanted to bring their children to get some cotton candy, but had decided to distract the young ones with something else along the way, upon seeing the nonsensical display near the cotton candy booth. Trent was oblivious to the stare. Perhaps even if he should be questioned about his choice of current activity, he would still choose to stay where he was at.

"Sober? Not sober? Who's not sober? Who?" Trent began to toss about, especially with his head, as if looking for the subject or culprit in question.

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Melissa Finnigan Sun Jul 31, 2011 7:15 pm

Worms were weird. That was one of the many nonsensical musings that Millie put time and energy into. It was like looking up at the sky and trying to make sense of the clouds that floated by. Millie wanted to do that, cloud watching, but the sky was the colour of fresh ink that had only moments ago been poured into a rather unsuspecting inkwell. The clouds were barely noticeable as they scraped across the sky like debris that had gotten stuck in the ink as it had dried on the parchment. Millie giggled aloud at her rather thoughtful mental monologue and smiled to herself, her fingers coming to her lips as her eyes danced across the sky, drinking in every movement of the clouds and every twinkle of the stars above. The luminous lights that seemed to hang from everything in the carnival detracted from the atmosphere around them. That’s why the sky was nicer; warmer almost...if that made any sense what so ever.

“Oh!” Millie’s eyes flicked back to Trent as he too flopped over the side of the booth. Millie licked her lips and giggled again before turning her head towards her friend. “See...as much as I’m sure we’d both enjoy it...” Millie began thoughtfully, “I’m quite sure someone would notice.” She giggled and crossed her ankles before gesturing vaguely to the large expanse of grass behind all of the booths that were collectively referred to as ‘Vendors Lane’. “There however...complete privacy. I wanted cotton candy though - not your body thank-you-very-much.” She turned her nose up at him, a smile teasing the sides of her lips as she did so, and looked over at the cotton candy seller. Reluctantly, the man handed a cone over and Millie grinned, leaning up to take the cone before flopping back down beside Trent. She pulled off some cotton candy with her teeth and poked the cone towards him. “Want some?” She asked, her words muffled by the fluffy sugar-based product that had filled her mouth.

Someone wasn’t sober. Someone was in fact very, very unsober. That was not a word. Or was it? Millie made a mental note to have a rifle through Brother-Bot’s stuff later. He’d have a dictionary no doubt. Millie was sure that that was where he hid his porn - not under the floorboards like every other normal teenager in the world - but in his books. He was too weird for words. Millie was quite sober herself. A few swigs of her dad’s Firewhisky here and a mouthful of the vodka she’d found in her mum’s vanity there...she was quite content really...warm and bubbly inside. She was more than happy to play along and couldn’t help but giggle as he referred to himself in the third person.

“But I love you more than I do Mr. Cotton Candy Man, Trenty-Poo!” Millie chirped happily, rolling over a little so she was closer to him. “Did you know that if you don’t milk cows then their udders explode?” Millie looked at him with saucer eyes and took another bite of the cotton candy. “Lucius told me!” She nodded enthusiastically and grinned at him. The cat was her conspirator and he, as far as she knew, was guarding the den so neither her mother nor her father could go in and mess up her plans to completely wreck her brother’s summer. “I can speak cat you know! Meow-meow-meow! See? That was ‘I love you’ in kitty-speak!” Millie nodded adamantly, as if what she was saying wasn’t complete and utter nonsense.

Millie giggled again; completely oblivious to the strange looks the pair were being given by those who were trying to enjoy themselves at the circus. “You!” Millie exclaimed. “You’re not sober, Trenty!” She tapped him on the nose with her index finger. Her eyes widened and she grinned as she placed one finger in front of the other, walking her fingers up his face. “Ahhhh! Your face is soft!” She exclaimed before slapping her hands onto his cheeks. She giggled and tipped her head forward, rubbing her nose against his in an Eskimo kiss. “Soft-soft-soft!” She mumbled happily. There was probably a reason why she wasn’t allowed sugar often - and this was it in all its entirety.

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Trenton Thomas Mon Aug 01, 2011 5:22 am

Trent grinned. His eyes roamed to the large expanse of grass behind Vendors Lane, squinting a little at the brightness in that area, not shaded by the tents and booths, and people everywhere. Were there mushrooms there? Pete, one of the muggle boys, had mentioned how the boys found mushrooms on a school camping trip. The story of that had left Trent feeling a little left out. Mushrooms were all the boys could talk about now, although that was their first and only time so far. Trent was sure, from how the conversations are filled with that, that he had missed out on a great opportunity with the mushrooms. The boy wondered if the Forbidden Forest had mushrooms. What a strange thought. What an oddball. Perhaps one day he could go looking for trouble there.

At Millie's offer of cotton candy, Trent jerked his head towards the cone and found his nose lost in fluff first. At that, he quickly withdrew his nose, smelling the sweetness of the cotton candy at the tip of it. Trent stuck a tongue out and tried to touch the tip of his nose with it. He definitely looked silly alright. After many attempts of stretching his tongue out and up, Trent chuckled and gave up, allowing the back of his head to fall back to the ground. Millie had continued to speak as he was doing all of that. Trent had gotten use to her disjointed ramblings, but the content of them was still nothing short of confusing but amusing to him.

"What comes out after they explode?! Fiery milk balls?" Balls of milk started to fly at him in his head. Of course Trent returned Millie's game of trivial with nonsense. He was never one to take anything seriously. Sometimes it felt as if his parents knew that, and he could feel their disappointment. But it was not as if they did anything to help him or try to effect some change. They had busy lives, after all. "I thought meow-meow-meow was you-hot-stuff in cat language? Lucius told me that! He's fooling with us, I tell you! Perhaps he was trying to tell me something, don't you think? Such a sly cat. All those times that I let him lick my hand and my face ... so he thought I was hot stuff, eh?"

Trent had broke off into laughter. He was enjoying lying on the ground, but he lifted himself to the side to face Millie again, before finding fingers on his face. "Gah! Spiders!" He shook his head as soon as the girl had completed her finger-trailing on his face before finding it trapped in slaps from her hand. The act caused some of the daze to leave him, and Trent let her continue doing whatever she was doing, lazy to remove his face from her attacks. Thankfully the attacks stopped and her nose greeted his. The contact felt a little sticky though. The remnants of the cotton candy stuck to his nose were still there. Trent stuck a tongue out to lick the girl's chin. It was something that he had used to annoy some muggle girls. Saliva was supposed to disgust people unless they liked you, right? Perhaps. The muggle girls seem to like it though. Strange.

"HAHA." Trent said as soon as he licked the girl's chin and pulled back in case she attacked him for being disgusting. He was beginning to wonder about the other twin. "Where's that sexy brother of yours, Mills? Is he avoiding me after I popped his cherry?" Trent laughed. Of course that was not true. He had a lot of bromances going around, but to sleep with guys was never his style. There were too many attractive girls in the world to go after before they run out for him to look to boys. Trent was sure they would never run out.

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Melissa Finnigan Mon Aug 01, 2011 8:28 pm

The grass was long, almost fluffy, and beautifully soft. Millie closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the people milling around. Their words were scathing, especially when they were directed towards them. The children were interested, wondering why two people who were only barely older than they were themselves were laying in the grass in front of the cotton candy stand. It wasn’t a completely stupid question; in fact, it was quite an understandable question. Why were they there? Why not in the main tent watching acrobats or going in search of a meal to satisfy their stomachs. Instead of doing the sensible thing, they were laid there content with each other’s company, content among the grass and the people and the sticky cotton candy. Millie knew that though they were garnering some attention, here they could not be found by Brother-Bot. Hiding in plain sight, it was called.

Though why she was hiding at all was question in itself. She probably wasn’t but she liked to think that she was; and she was a particularly good hider.

At Trent’s words, fiery milk balls began to bounce through her mind, with sheep and flying pigs. She cocked her head to the side in thought before nodding, her head bobbing back and forth a number of times. She giggled happily and shook her head at him. “Do you think if we had fiery milk balls then the milk would be hot...and if we put chocolate in it then we’d have hot chocolate? Unless - oooh! What if we had a chocolate cow! Then we would have fiery chocolate milk balls. Mmmmmmmm! I love chocolate milk, Trent! I love-love-love-love love it!” Millie laughed again. “We should get some! Do you think they sell some here? We’ll have to go and look! We’ll look soon! I’m quite comfortable here, though. Are you comfy? I’m comfy.”

Lucius was her kitty but he definitely seemed to love Trent more than he loved her. This offended Millie to no end and she and her cat would always get into little spats over who loved Trent the most. Or did they? Maybe they didn’t happen at all. Maybe, after spending a gross amount of time with her friends, in her drug-addled state she just simply imagined the encounters. The funny thing was that she probably had - they probably both had. While in a completely different dimension mentally, they had probably cooed over the lazy moggy and gotten into their heads that he was speaking back to them. That sounded more like them than the cat actually speaking. He was probably even mildly amused by them. Either that or he pitied them. He was probably slinking around now looking for some she-cats to make babies with. He’d probably seen them and thought, ‘oh look, there’re those bloody fools again.’ Millie knew she should have been insulted - despite the situation being something her mind had created - but she didn’t seem to care. Lucius could get away with whatever he wanted to because he was her kitty; and she loved him.

Millie squealed when Trent’s tongue touched her chin. She couldn’t contain her laughter though and soon returned the gesture. She leaned forward and licked his nose, taking the stickiness away. She smiled brightly at him and giggled again before flopping back down and bringing the cotton candy to her lips. When Trent mentioned her brother, Millie rolled over onto her stomach. Her legs twisted awkwardly on the counter of the stall but she ignored the pain it caused long enough to pinpoint her brother being dragged into a tent by several women. He looked rather docile - as if he’d given up fighting and decided just to accept his punishment. Well, it was hardly a punishment. Millie knew she wouldn’t have been complaining had she been him. But then again, if she’d been him then she would have been in the process of losing her bedroom so she was actually rather glad she was herself and not her dimwit brother.

Millie rolled back onto her back and looked at Trent critically, trying to sense whether he was lying or not. “He’s getting laid,” she told Trent seriously. “Multiple women by the looks. Either, though, he’s getting laid or he’s going to get his entire body tattooed.” Millie paused before nodding. “It’s the latter. He hasn’t got a clue.”

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Trenton Thomas Tue Aug 02, 2011 5:34 am

"Let's go looking for some cows! What if we drank directly from the udders? Will we ... die?!" Of course Trent meant that as a joke. He was not thick. He was just lazy, at school, that was it. And above all, he loved to suggest the silliest of things. Life was one big joke to him. Treating life that way seemed to help him to get by. It made one's head conscious of almost nothing else but that one big joke. "Yes, Mills. Let's go drink some udders! Don't think they sell udders here, but do you think they've life cows here? It's the circus anyway, anything is possible, right? Well, not really, magic is better. Could you pull a cow out of your wand, Mills? And make sure she's a chocolate one!" Trent had rattled on without really remembering what was it that he had to reply to his friend for. He was sure it was nothing serious. Nothing was serious anyway.

Suddenly, a swarm of adoration filled Trent's heart. No other person was in a state of mind that returned his lick with a lick of her own. Sometimes he was pushed away for that disgusting and annoying act, while at other times, a girl started making out with him, thinking that the intention of his lick was meant for that. Either way, it was just not as fun as someone playing the same game as he. Trent could go on annoying the girl by licking her like a dog would, but a part of his head had cleared up, and it told him that the stares they were getting could get even harsher, hot enough to probably burn a hole through his body. And so he refrained.

When Millie rolled over onto her stomach, Trent followed suit, his eyes following where her finger had pointed to. And there he spotted Brother-Bot. Ah, good friend of his, albeit not as fun or bold as he would like. Still, the boy was reliable, and he definitely helped Trent get away with some trouble sometimes. He was definitely good to have around, and in return, Trent was protective over him. Then again, Trent was protective over his friends. Trent continued to lay on his stomach to observe people even after the Finnigan boy entered a tent. "Well, if I'm not getting laid here, then he's not getting laid. No way, sir. He's definitely getting his body tattooed. I wonder if my name or my face will be anywhere. That would be fun, won't it? Speaking of which, have you seen my latest one?"

Quickly, Trent sat up and pointed to the area behind his right ear. It was obvious enough, alright. It was a lightning bolt, an imitation of the shape that Harry Potter had at his forehead. The boy got the tattoo just a week after school was out. A year ago, he had gotten his first one. It was his birthday in Roman numerals, around the wrist of his left hand. It was funny how his parents never noticed them yet. Why did they have to be so busy and blind?

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Melissa Finnigan Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:24 am

You know that feeling, when you’re talking about food or drink and suddenly you can taste it on your tongue? Well, that was the feeling that had now pricked her taste buds and she involuntarily licked her lips as the taste of hot chocolate spread through her mouth. She giggled to herself and let her head fall back into the grass as she brought her hands down to rest on her stomach. Idly, she began to run her nails lightly across her skin. The shirt she’d chosen to wear was strange. It was light and didn’t exactly hug her torso. Neither did it reach her waistline as it just sort of rode up. It wasn’t ill-fitting at all, it was simply the cut, and so it let her stomach exposed if she were stood up or, like now, laid down. Millie shivered a little and her skin tingled at the slight touch of her nails. She curved her nails around her belly button and her lips let a giggle slip past them as she did so.

“Could we take her home and name her Bessie?” Millie asked, turning her head to look at Trent, a slightly absent smile on her face. “And...and...get a male cow and have little cowlets...” Millie nodded seriously. She wasn’t actually sure at that present moment what baby cows were called. It was one of those moments where, no matter how hard you tried, and no matter how simple the word, you just couldn’t recall it - so cowlets would have to do. “Then...when they’re big and strong we’ll set them out iinto the world - to be free and prosp...prosp....something! They’ll be free and something, something very, very happy!”

Millie often felt sorry for her brother. But then the sneaky bastard told their mother where Millie’s plans for, quote, “destruction on a scale even the Death Eaters couldn’t compete with”, and then Millie stopped feeling sorry for him. That had been a week or so ago and it had been the cause of Millie rigging his bedroom floorboards. She refused to forgive him for that. The Slytherin Common Room was going to go ka-boom and he told their mum. Nice one, Brother-Bot. He was getting it instead now, and he’d receive the just torture until the pair of them were old and wrinkly. Millie would only forgive him if his Christmas present was bloody magnificent. If it wasn’t then there was no chance and he’d just have to suffer with everything being exploded once in a while. And then, if he ever got a girlfriend - unlikely - she’d make sure to embarrass him at every available opportunity.

“Mum will kill him,” Millie reasoned with an almost gleeful smile. “I hope I’m there.” Millie rolled towards Trent and propped herself up on her elbow to get a look at this new tattoo. A lightning bolt. How predictable of him. Millie giggled openly and leaned forward. She pressed her lips against the tattoo and, not scrimping on the dramatic noises, kissed it better. “Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm-uah!” She pulled away and giggled again. “I want a tattoo.” Millie murmured thoughtfully, cocking her head to the side for a few moments as she thought. “Maybe...I don’t know,” she snickered, “angel wings?” How ironic that would be. The Devil’s Advocate, modifying her body so she looked like she belonged in the House of God. Lavender would kick her out in a second. Millie was willing to put up with that though because Seamus would soon let her back in - she was Daddy’s favourite after all. “and then a Phoenix maybe!” Millie nodded. “Next week, maybe. I’ll take Gis...or Roxi or someone. Or you!” She giggled. “We can go together!”

Vaulting Cotton Candy Empty Re: Vaulting Cotton Candy

Post by Trenton Thomas Wed Aug 03, 2011 4:55 pm

Being Trent, he could not help but to find his eyes trail down to where he saw skin that looked like a hidden wonderland. It was an obvious stare, alright; an absolute perving at his friend, even at his mate's sister. But that was Trent. He probably did not even know the meaning of restrictions until you shoved a dictionary to his face. That attempt itself might not even work. Millie's shirt had ridden up, and the bare skin was calling out for his eyes, or so it seemed to him. Besides, brother-bot was not here to ... monitor the situation. Millie was talking on about cows and whatnots, and Trent was simply not paying attention to her conversation. He was a very single-minded boy, after all -- not really one up for multi-tasking.

Trent was not one to find himself get around with girls in Hogwarts. Somehow, it seems, he had a much easier time with muggle girls. Too often, he had been tempted to whip out his wand to impress them to let him have his way with them. Too often, though, there was no need. With most of the muggle girls, he did not really need that magic wand from Ollivander's to impress. Besides, Trent always heard the scoldings of his father if a letter from the Ministry came to the house, bearing a notice and punishment of underaged magic outside of Hogwarts. And so, that was enough deterrence for him. Trent lived for summers. There were always his homeboys, girls, and drugs to look forward to. At Hogwarts, he survived on people like Millie and the fact that magic was, after all, too cool for words. He wanted to be an accidental hero. So far, though, he merely got into trouble and received howlers. And still, no results that he desired for.

Trent was knocked out of his thoughts, and the placid stare at Millie's midriff, when he felt a kiss at the back of his ear. He lifted his eyes so that they were looking at his friend properly in the eye, and grinned at what happened. "That was ... awesome! Millsie, can you please do that kiss again?" Eagerly, Trent pushed his head closer towards his friend. And then he heard her talk about getting a tattoo for herself. Suddenly the day got more interesting. Trent turned his head once again to face Millie, a look of excitement decorated his face. "You've got to let me bring you! See I'm the one who has got two. I'll be there to dry your tears when they come from the tattooing!" Trent chuckled when he teased. He remembered how his first time getting one was horrid. Every one of his muggle mates stood crowding around him, and he had to bite his tongue to keep from revealing how he wanted to cry from the pain. Still, the result of it was beautiful, and Trent felt as if he would never look back again.

As soon as Trent was done laughing, his eyes averted back to Millie's midriff, where he grinned a little to himself at the sight of it.
