Byron's eyes narrowed when Roxi asked about sneaking her free drinks. He should have known she would have thought of that. And now she learnt that he was working there, he was sure that she would devise some plan for him to do so. "How about we wait until I want to quit the job first, then I will sneak them all out for you, eh?" Byron finished up the sandwich that he had taken. It seemed as if the more he ate, the hungrier he felt.
"It's fun to watch people at the Leaky Cauldron. They really do get some really odd people, although I've seen some people from Hogwarts there. You should come visit with the gang. I promise I'll sneak something into your drinks. I'll try, anyway. The manager's pretty easy-going, and I suspect the head barman has been working half-drunk all this time. Too bad that's all the entertainment there is. I've yet to do some eye-feasting on an unexpected girl customer." Grinning, Byron reached for another sandwich, which he determined would be his last.
"Well, are you going back to school for the Hogwarts Reconstruction? I signed up for it. I'm going to make sure the Quidditch Pitch is up and running. That is, if I get it. I don't know what to expect. I got Trent to agree to go, although I'm worried he could turn up less than sober. He's been busy getting smashed this holidays. 'Said it was his holiday plans. Ah, well." Byron bit into his sandwich. "We should do something fun. It's getting boring. I mean, the holidays. The problem is, the ideas in my head involve an aftermath of getting into serious trouble after." And Byron was a little sensible, which meant it would not happen, not if he could help it.
"Or," Byron started again, shifting before he laid himself on the floor. "We could just sleep, and hope for a better day tomorrow." He nodded to took the last bite of his last sandwich while lying down.
