I remember when they where only days old....

As normal the train station at 9 3/4 was busy and loud. The only difference is the people that are walking around and sending their kids off. Sammy remembered the first day that she got on the train, meeting new friends, making enemies. But that was along time ago, and now it was her kids turn to go to school. At her side was her three kids. The oldest Jazmine Potter, standing at her left side pushing her own cart of stuff for school and her new owl. The youngest ones, Zack and Sophia Emof, twins, pushing their carts for the first time down the busy pathway. Once they had finally stopped, Sammy looked down at her kids lovingly and happily, a single tear welling up in her eye. 'They are growing up so fast.' Sammy thought picturing them in diapers running around the house.

"OK, now Jazmine you know where to go. And watch out for your brother and sister." Sammy said taking out a napkin from her purse and started wiping the soot off of her face.

"Mom stop, the other kids are stairing." Jazmine said, wiping at the spot that Sammy had just finished wiping.

Sammy then turned to Zack and Sophia. "You guys watch out for each other and don't let any of the other kids make fun of you or get you into trouble. And watch out for the older Slytherin kids. They will try and get you into trouble all the time. Also remember I will love you no mater what house you are put into." Sammy said, wiping the soot off of their faces now.

"OK mom." Zack and Sophia said together.

"I hope your father won't be to long, the trains going to leave soon." Sammy said standing up straight now and putting the napkin back in her purse. Sammy couldn't imagine what was taking him so long, but he insisted on coming later. Sammy could only hope that he wouldn't miss his own kids going off to school for the first time.

Ne'Os had spent a extremely busy day at the ministry or at least that is what he would tell Samantha and the kids when he arrived. Really he had spent the day in the Americas tracking down a wizard who had information on the order of the phoenix. Ne'Os appeared with a soft pop in a empty waiting room in the train station he walked to the door and stopped looking at is reflection in the glass. He looked exactly two years older than Sam and had the same face he had before he was killed so many years back. Straightening his tie he opened the door and walked out. Putting a smile on his face he walked over to his family "Hello family" he said enthusiastically as he gave Sam a kiss and the kids a hug. "How are we doing on time?" he asked wondering how long they had before the train left. He remembered his first day on the train it was his third year oddly enough. He had gone to Dermstrang for the first two years before he had accidentally hurt a teacher and ran off.

Sammy sighed in relief when she looked up to see Ne'Os finally coming. Sammy was happy to see that Ne'Os would not miss this. After all their kids would only go off to school for the first time, once. She kissed Ne'Os back when he kissed her and watched him hug his kids. "Oh.." Sammy said looking down at her watch. "Looks like we have a minute or two. We would have more time if someone..." Sammy said looking down at Zack. "Had not forgot his books and made us have to go back." Sammy said, smiling down at him after a second. Zack shrugged then smiled back at her. Sammy looked back over at Ne'Os. "So what took you so long? Your cutting it pretty close." Sammy asked him curious about what his excuse would be this time. Ever since Ne'os and Sammy had gotten back together all those years ago, she had had this tiny, deep down gut feeling that Ne'Os was hiding something. She just didn't know what it was yet.

Ne'Os had the lie figured out before he had kissed her "The ministry was just swamped today there were 9 raids two of which where out of country guess who got to go out of country the Americans don't seem to care if there muggles find out they have magic had to modify the memories of who knows how many people" he said in a voice that indicated he was stressed out. Truthfully he had seen that raid as he had caught up to his mark just as the ministry came through the front door. He had to modify the memory of many muggles and wizards alike just to escape and keep his cover intact. Looking at the train he said "Kids why don't put your luggage on bored and come back so we can say goodbye" said smiling. " How was your day love i forgot to ask" he asked giving her a interested and concerned face.

Sammy listened to what Ne'Os had to say about the raids and modifying memories and muggles. Of course she had to hear about this kind of stuff everytime he got home from work, or in this case off of work. She nodded in the right places and sighed in the right places, but most of the time tried to pay more attention to the kids. She watched as Zack and Sophia took their cart to the train and loaded them up. She turned to see Jazmine talking to some girls. It was nice to see that she had some friends already. "Jaz come and say bye to me." Sammy said watching all three of her kids run up to her and give her a hug at the same time. She loved to feel their little hands around her body. She would miss this while they where gone. "Take care of each other. And remember to do what the professors tell you to. I better not hear one word from them about you guys doing something that your not suppose to. I love you guys." Sammy said giving them one last hug and kiss before sending them off to their father.

Ne'Os laughed warmly as the kids hugged him he would miss them but it would give him more time for him and Sam and of course his work. "Quick get on the train and to your friends before it leaves." he said and then quietly to them he said "Don't tell your mom i told you this but the caretaker's office is where the best stuff is and it should be unlocked most of the time" he said before letting them go and letting them bored the train. He turned back to Sam "I just can't believe how much they are growing" he said to her.

Another single tear fell from Sammy's eye as she watched her wonderful, darling children board the train. She hated that she wouldn't be able to see them for months, but was also happy that she would get more time with Ne'Os and her work. She turned to Ne'Os and sighed. "I know dear. But it's not like we can keep them this age forever. It would be nice though. Today after you left for work, I had the kids running in circles to get all there things. Of course Jazmine thought that she could get away with throwing those slutty clothes in her trunk to take to school but I took them right back out. Then Sophia started having a panic attack so I had to comfort her. Then after we finally left, Zack forgot his books and we had to go all the way back." Sammy told him feeling more tears well up and fall from her eyes. "In no time they will be out of school, married, and have jobs and places of there own." Sammy said feeling herself starting to lose it. In no time Sammy would be bawling. Sammy stepped closer to Ne'Os and put her head on his shoulder.

Ne'Os put his arm around her trying to comfort her "I know, but think about it this way you and I are almost ageless we will have children and grand children and great grand children for a very long time" he said thinking of her vampire life. While Ne'Os wasn't a vampire he did have one last horcrux which of course he told her had been made before his death but truthfully had been made more recently.

"here is what i think we should do today: We watch the train leave, then we go to the lovely cafe across the street, and then we go from there" he suggested giving her the warm smile he only saved for her.

Sammy's mood started to lighten up with the comforting words that Ne'os was giving her to listen to. Sammy lifted her head, wiped her eyes, then smiled at him. "Your right. Thinking about all the grand children we will play with makes me feel much better. Thank you, love." Sammy said to him giving him a hug. "I must have done something wonderful in order to have such a wonderfully understanding, comforting, and honest husband." Sammy said to him leaning away from him after the hug now, taking his hand in hers and facing the train. Sammy then lifted her hand waving at her children as they left on the train. The train gave one last whistle, then was out of sight. Sammy put her hand down, then turned to face Ne'Os. "Are you ready to go, love?" Sammy asked him wanting to make sure that he was as ready to get out of there as she was.
