Jack heard footsteps and turned to see Clemmie being hauled into her arms. She took her with a smile and then turned to give Ari a pained grimace, expressing her starvation. “Foooood,” she responded. Clemmie giggle and said, “Waffles, daddy!” Jack gasped and nodded. “Waffles! And, whaddya think Clemmie. Bacon?” Clemmie giggled and nodded and the motion was further approved by a call of, “BACON!”
She grinned and turned to see Goose thundering down the stairs towards them, pulling on a sock as he tried to yank on a hat. Elliot ran in front of him, stopping at the bottom of the stairs to ensure Goose did not hurt himself- Elliot treated the kids as if they were his own pups. Fred was bounding down the stairs behind Goose, a weasel-y grin on his face.
Clemmie gasped at the appearance of Fred, as they were best friends, and began to squirm. Jack grinned and set down Clemmie who toddled over to the Jarvey, scooping him up into her arms. He went limp, knowing he had to be nicer with Clemmie, though he really did love the attention. Elliot blinked and turned to head out his dog door to go on whatever adventures he went on.
“I’m gonna put some tv on,” Goose said, walking over to the television and clinking it on, grabbing the remote before sinking into the couch. Clemmie went over and clambered onto the couch before turning around and sitting next to Goose. Mongo sidled over to the two of them and Goose made the mistake to try to prop his feet up on him. The footstool suddenly grabbed his sock and took off with it, causing Goose to launch off the couch and tackle the striped footstool, making Clemmie and Fred giggle.
Jack turned back to look at Ari, grinning at him. “We’re normal right?”
