Wally was feeling adventurous and rebellious, as was the norm. Her sister had dragged her along to Diagon Alley and then had run into her various groups of giggling girls. Wally had persistently asked if they could just get on with getting what Mum needed and get back home. Wally had been in the middle of an experimenting with fireworks and her sister's plushies.
It was obvious her sister had forgotten all about her. Scuffing her feet, she turned and walked off, a foul look on her young face. Her hair had been pulled into pig tails and her sneakers kicked the dirt with a malice beyond the years of the young girl. Her thin legs compelled her forward, and she looked up and received a sign of where to go.
It was a literal sign.. pointing towards Knockturn Alley. She had ventured there several times but had usually been dragged back by her siblings or a parent. This time, she was determined to explore it. She turned and headed down the alley, a blank expression on her face. Wizards leered at her from either side of the street, and she continued on, looking up at the store signs with her straight expression.
