Welcome to Potter's Army

And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. We're off to never-never land Empty We're off to never-never land

Post by Vito Dee Symons Fri Jul 01, 2011 8:13 pm

With his back pressed firmly against one of the many cement pillars that made up the bustling train station, Vito tore yet another spent cigarette from his lips, and dropped the useless thing at his feet. It was becoming increasingly difficult for Vito to keep up with his nicotine-hungry lungs as he became more dependent on the drug - and if he was worried about the possibility of cancer, it most certainly didn't show as he fished another, plastic-sealed pack from a pocket within his suit. After peeling the thin, transparent sheet from the box, Vito slid a fresh cigarette in-between two of his fingers - but his eyes never left the crowd before him.

It was not often that Vito felt it necessary to leave Knockturn Alley - in fact, if it weren't for the sudden decrease in redheaded women in that area, he most certainly would have remained in his comfort zone for as long as he'd last... but Vito's addiction to nicotine was not his only bad habit. Perhaps if he learned to keep the women around for a little longer after they'd had their fun they would last longer - but like a spent cigarette, Vito found that he got no significant pleasure out of spending an evening with a female with whom he'd already 'affiliated'. It was a foolish decision, really; choosing to simultaneously satisfy both his lust for gingers and for blood. In fact, it was the very reason that he'd had to resort to visiting the train station that dull afternoon. If his supplies were running low, Vito would have to search elsewhere, which, unfortunately required quite a bit of effort, Vito realized as he stood and watched the crowd before him chatter. After a half an hour of picking through the ground, Vito had not once spotted a single strand of real, red hair - and he was becoming extremely aggravated; surely, they didn't all live in Ireland. He wasn't about to change locations simply to find a beautiful woman; no addiction was worth more to Vito than his kingdom, even if the withdrawal was a painful process.

Vito grumbled to himself, polluting the air with a poisonous combination of curse words and smoke; after his feet finally began to complain of the time that they'd spent, holding up Vito's weight without so much as a twitch, Vito come to the decision that he would have to settle for someone below his usual standards. Perhaps, Vito thought to himself, I'll put one of those beauty potions that I’ve acquired to use, he considered; if he could not find a ginger, perhaps he could create one. Zara Ellis had managed to pull of quite a convincing red color when she'd met Vito, after all. It would be no different with a beauty potion, he decided, and with a laziness about him, he held his hand out before him and began to make his finger hop from one random female within the ground to another.

"Eeny," his fingernail stopped on a blonde.
"Meeny" a brunette.
"Miney" a woman with jet black hair.
"Moe" Finally his finger came to a halt, and it was decided; a young brunette who looked to be no older than fifteen would be Vito's entertainment. In most occasions, Vito looked towards women who were in their twenties, but in truth, all human beings had begun to look like insects to Vito as one century after another passed him by. Four-hundred and fifty-five years it had been, and though Vito had stopped counting, the clock continued to turn...

Vito took another drag from his cigarette, and pushed off of the pillar with the heel of his favorite, polished shoes; he'd locked target, and was prepared to swipe the teenager from the crowd with ease.

OOC: It is official; Vito has reached an entirely new level of creepy. I apologize for this. I couldn't stop him.

We're off to never-never land Empty Re: We're off to never-never land

With all of the, bustling people, crying children, annoyed adults, and hurrying conductors, any train station would seem to be the wrong place for the antisocial, Aurora Nye. All around her people were hugging, kissing, and goodbye-ing. It seemed as no one else had come alone like Aurora had. Every adult was accompanied by a loved one of some sort and every child was accompanied by another child. That’s the way most train stations were. None dared to travel alone as Aurora had.

It was unusual for Aurora to be away from school. Most days she would sit in the common room and study. The farthest she usually was from school was Hogsmede and that was only when she wasn’t at her brother’s home. Now that her brother had disowned her, She had no where to live really. She had inherited all of her parent’s money when they died and that wasn’t to much. Hugo had agreed to be with her whenever she needed him but Aurora hadn’t really wanted him to be around when she travels around. Since she had no where to go sometimes Aurora even considered herself as a homeless person.

In the Air around her, Aurora could smell a bit of smoke. For all she knew the smoke couldve been from minutes ago to hours ago. cigarette smoke was something Aurora could always smell because she had been mildly harmed by smoke in the past. No matter what kind of smoke it had been, Aurora knew the smell of smoke anywhere. She had since she was a young tyke after the burning of her parents home.

Silently, Aurora pulled her pack over her sholder and began to walk on her way to the train she was to get on.

We're off to never-never land Empty Re: We're off to never-never land

The young female began to move towards the still train to her left, and Vito stepped in-sync with her, acting as her shadow on the cloudy evening. She was certain to hear the tapping of his shoes against the brick road beneath him as he walked, but Vito would have loved that all the more; so long as she did not escape into the crowd.

If Vito was in his right mind, he wouldn't have strayed from Knockturn Alley, as he had already had one too many run-ins with members of the Ministry of Magic, but Vito had given into the desire that had burned within him; the desire to draw attention to himself, to have all eyes on him, and to have another female to occupy himself with that evening. If anything were to go wrong, and a scene was created, Vito would have only have been pleasured all the more by the accident; he was too far gone to ponder over the possible outcomes of his actions.

"Hello, doll face," Vito greeted the child and wrapped his right arm around her waist in one, graceful movement. He'd joined the brunette's side, eliminating the distance that had once separated the two of them from each other. He smirked, and began to steer her away from the train, doubling back in the direction he'd appeared, and tilted his face even closer to her for a moment to smirk against her hair. "Vito Dee Symons," he introduced himself, causing his warm, nicotine-scented breath to dance about the side of her face. "It is your pleasure to meet me," he added, twisting the common greeting until he felt it was worthy to be spoken aloud by himself.

"Don't fuss, or I'll cut your tongue out," Vito warned her abruptly, but the amused expression that he wore with confidence contradicted his words.

OOC: Not a problem, Aurora.

Aurora felt weird as she walked toward the train. It seemed as though someone, or something, was watching her and following her. She heard the tapping of shoes but made no commotion of it because there were a lot of people walking around so it could’ve been from anyone's shoes.

'Hello, doll face," A voice said, startling Aurora. Her pack dropped to the ground as an arm wrapped around her. "Umm, Hi?" Aurora said in an awkward voice. She didn’t know exactly what to do since she was scared. As they moved away from the train that was supposed to take Aurora to her destination, she smelled a disgusting smell coming from him. She hadn’t really liked how close he was to her.

'Don’t fuss, or I'll cut your tongue out,' The strange man had said making Aurora even more scared. She walked with him silently trying to keep from him hurting her.

From what Vito could tell of the girl by the little she had spoke aloud during his time near her, and the way in which she’d so quickly decided to obey his orders, she was a very dull human being. She was somewhat intelligent for having gone along with Vito, walking beside him in a way that suggested to everyone else around them that they were had known each other for ages; he surely would have harmed her if she hadn't. She had one thing going for her, but it just so happened that Vito was not interested in her mind.

Vito drew her nearer as they made their way through the crowd, attempting to get a bit more of a reaction from her that the fearful expression that she wore.

Oh, what luck Vito had; his selection was a boring one.

“Bedded anyone good recently, darling? I would assume not, due to that ‘don’t touch me, I’m too introverted’ look you were only just wearing, but I thought I’d ask – conversation is important in relationships, you know…” Vito spoke mockingly, having decided to hit her with the boldest statement possible.

Vito tightened his arm around her slender waist, holding her firmly against him. “It doesn’t matter to me either way, so long as you’re a ginger by the time you’ve finished off that beauty potion of mine,” he added, expecting the child to come to realize the plans he had in store for her.
