Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Roxi jumped up and down as she tried to peer into the Quidditch shop. People were gathered around though, and getting inside was going to be next to impossible. She turned and pouted, stomping one yellow foot. She sighed, looking glum and downcast, when she saw it.

Ice cream shop.

"YES!" she yelled, causing nearby kids to jump in fear. She did a quick victory lap, running in a small tight circle with her hands in the air before she stopped and turned to look at the shop. She reached down and pulled up her long socks, before adjusting her shorts. Her short shirt reached to her bellybutton, showing a good inch of stomach. And her outfit was weird enough to get her the looks she needed so badly.

She pushed her circular glasses from off their perch on her reddish brown locks onto her nose. She pushed them up and flicked her hair over her shoulder and began to strut towards the shop, letting the boys enjoy the view of her long legs. She was dignified, a real lady-

"Jake!?"

She spotted her friend awhile away and lept into the air, waving her hands and breaking the magic. "Jake!" She skipped over to him and threw her arms around him, bouncing excitedly. "I was about to get ice cream! But then I saw you, so I came over here, and I began ranting, which I'm STILL doing!" She grinned. "Want to get ice cream?!"

Jake walked through Diagon Alley, looking for something to do, somewhere to go. He didn't want to head home just yet. If he did he would only be either bored by his parents' talk about what they were planning to do for the summer, or he would be annoyed by his little sister, Mayleen. She couldn't leave him alone for one second, just like Mary and Callin. Although, luckily for the first time they weren't with him. They had gone home with their families, for a while. But they said they would meet up with him soon enough.

He had been looking in a store, when he heard someone call his name. He turned to find Roxanne skipping over to him. He smiled and when she threw her arms around him, he had no choice but to do the same. Though after only a few seconds he broke them apart, and listened to her rant on and on and on. "Okay, Roxi. Calm down, take a deep breath." he told her laughing softly.

He looked at her then the ice cream shop and he shrugged. "Sure, why not?" he smiled. It was better than going home to his 'special' family or so he thought. He would do anything to get away from them. He was actually kinda glad that not long from now he would be able to go out on his own.

He told her to calm down- this was a sentence Roxi heard a lot of, actually. At home, from her parents, from her brother, from her friends, from professors, from strangers who happened to pass by her on the street... Huh, that was weird. There was something different about the world, because she knew it was not her that prompted those. No, it was the world, not her.

She giggled. "I'm excited. I had candy today. And coffee! Ooooh, Jake-y, I had COFFEE this morning! My mum made some so when she was making breakfast I poured some and it was [i]really[i] good!" She giggled and then her face got serious and contemplative. "Huh. Maybe the ice cream shop will have coffee. We could get coffee too. Sounds good."

He agreed to go with her and she pumped a fist into the air. "Yes! LET'S GO!" She hooked her arm in his and took off, dragging him down the street with her. "Soooooooooo," she said, drawing the word out. "How's life as a grad? Huh? Huh? HUUUUUH?" She giggled. "Must be oodles of fun."
