Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Binding Up the Wounds Empty Binding Up the Wounds

Post by Robert Lupin Thu Jun 23, 2011 4:34 pm

Robert arrived to find St. Mungos was in a state of relative controlled chaos. He saw Khaat and Brian already there taking control of the emergency department. He had seen Brian take Khaat out earlier because of her own wounds, but it appeared that the wounds had been tended and now Khaat and Brian were seeing to others. Khaat and Brian had changed to blue surgical scrubs to work in and at least weren't as filthy as he had seen them last. He took a moment for himself to clean up in order that he not contaminate any of the incoming wounded. He knew they would be coming here because the hospital wing at Hogwarts was not nearly as prepared to receive wounded because of the damage to the castle. Nor was the school hospital wing equipped to see so many. He stepped in and began assessing who seemed to be the most critically wounded first.

Ne'Os had left the meeting a long time ago and had gone home he rehanged into the clothes he wore at the battle so he wouldn't destroy any new clothes. He then used the floo network to get to St. Mungos and was now walking up to Robert he wondered if he would be recognized. He hid his wand up his sleeve just in case. "I require medical attention" he said to Robert "I was hit on the shoulder with some curse ive never seen before but i managed to slow the bleeding but im worried i just healed the surface wound also I was blasted into a wall and then i was burned by a form of dark lightning." He said lifting up his pant leg to show the burn he hoped it wouldn't be to obvious that he did it to himself but the streak mark did tell the truth even to Ne'Os. He hoped he wouldn't be turned away for being a death eater or if recognized as who he was.

Binding Up the Wounds Empty Re: Binding Up the Wounds

Post by Keith Nicholas Sat Jun 25, 2011 2:25 am

Keith stumbled up to the front desk, his face pale and his entire body shaking. He clutched an ice pack to a heavily bleeding hand, and the rest of his arm was wrapped in the remains of his shirt. Which was alos soaked in blood. When he reached the desk he nearly collapsed onto it. "I uh...I'm kind of injured," he said, not even having the energy to look up and see who he was talking to.

He had thought hiding in the kitchens was a good idea, too. So many pointy things to stab people with. Too bad he had forgotten that he wasn't immune to pointy things.

he pushed his bloodied arm across the table and hesitantly unwound some of the shirt. "Knives. Animated. Got me across the arm," he said, showing a long, deep gash in his arm. You could even see the bone if you looked hard enough. "And I think..." he said, pulling away the ice pack, "no, it's still on." He held up his hand to show his middle finger hanging onto his hand by a thread. The movement however, only served to weaken the already overworked thread, which promptly snapped. "Ah, there it goes," Keith said. "I think I'm in shock."

And then he passed out.

Emergency? Healers needed in the hospital immediately? Mal couldn't take everything in. She hurried into the room and saw Robert Lupin and an injured customer. "The battle of Hogwarts" she murmured under her breath, the big event was so hurtful. "I'm here" she told Robert, then looked at the injured, screaming customer. Would healer spells work? She wasn't advanced but she'd try the advanced ones just to help save these poor patients. "Mysterious curses" she muttered as the man who entered explained that he'd been hit on the shoulder and required medical attention. "I wonder what curse it was" she thought to herself.

Leaila rushed to St. Mungo's as soon as she heard that all Healers were to report there. She knew it had to be linked to the battle of Hogwarts. There were so many people that had been hurt there, even a few deaths. She knew that there must have been alot of people at the hospital right now, and she needed to be there. She had left her little sister at home, with one of their aunts and she had apparated to the hospital. She appeared in front of it and she walked in. She saw Robert Lupin and Malowney there with two patients.

"I'm here." she told Robert and she turned her attention to the patients. Particularly the boy who was passed out. "What happened to him?!" she asked, picking him up.

Post by Khaat Lupin Sun Jun 26, 2011 12:31 am

Khaat finished with healing a young student from a nasty sectumsempra and came out to see more wounded arriving. She saw her father starting to talk with a wounded man and then saw Keith come in wounded. She saw Keith's finger drop off and fall to the floor as another healer went to him.

"Let me help, Ms. Saturo," Khaat said. "I'm the boy's guardian. I will complete the necessary permissions for him as soon as possible. For now, you may consider that you have my permission to help him. He has multiple knife wounds. He'll bleed out if we don't tend to him immediately." She used her already gloved hand to pick up Keith's finger from the floor and motioned a gurney over to them. "If you'd be so kind as to lay him here. And do try a spell to reverse the traumatic shock so we dont' lose him from that before we stop the bleeding." She disappeared and found a bowl of ice to pack his finger in long enough to assess him. She returned. "Ms. Saturo, have you checked his vital signs? Pulse? Respirations? Heartbeat? It looks very much like we need to determine if he is strong enough for emergency surgery to set his fractured arm, stop the bleeding from the stab wounds and re-attach the finger. It might take awhile. I'll be happy to assist you, if you'd like to do this." Khaat was hoping that the young healer wanted a chance to take the lead on the case, with Khaat there to back her up if necessary.

"Thank you," Robert told Malowney and Leaila. "Leaila, I'd like you to work with Khaat for now. That boy looks like he will need more than one healer or we may well lose him. Malowney, if you'd accompany me please. You can assist me with this." Robert looked at the bleeding shoulder. "You've done a good job slowing down the bleeding before you got here. It is liable to be a bit sore for a few days, but that's manageable. As for that burn, that may take a bit of time to undo. Sometimes dark arts things can be a wee bit stubborn to release. It can be done, though. And it may well leave a bit of a scar. Are you having pain anywhere else? Malowney, would you see if there is an available treatment room for us to use, and get us some supplies to clean and tend to his shoulder and to the burn on his leg? I may need to go and fetch a potion to use on the burn to work on undoing that dark magic. We need to start by making him comfortable and tending the bleeding."

Leaila walked over to the gurney and gently placed the boy on it. She took her wand out and slowly pointed it at the boy. "Subsisto Offensus" she said, and waved her wand. She hoped that the spell would be enough to keep the boy with them. Leaila placed her wand back in her pocket and checked the boy's vital signs. "His vital signs are weak, but they aren't dangerously weak." she said. "Still, I don't think we should perfrom surgery on him yet. It might be too risky." she added. "I'd be happy to do this, when he is ready of course." she told Khaat. It would be her first time doing something like this but she knew she could do it if she stayed focused.

"What should we do now? Bring him out of this unconscious state?" she asked Khaat, as she nodded to Robert. She felt slightly more calm knowing that an expert Healer like Khaat would be there to help her.

Sophia ran through the corridor as fast as she could until she reached Rober breathing hard. "I'm sorry I'm late Robert."said Sophia catching her breath. "Where do you need me Robert? I'll help where ever you want me."said Sophia. Sophia was a very loyal healer to Robert and she done her job very well indeed and she wasn't going to let Robert or Khaat down. Sophia was sure many others would come in seeing how there's was alot of students and order members that became injured. Sophia turned to Leaila and ggave her a soft warm smile. "Do you need any help Lea? I'll be happy to help."said Sophia softly.

"Yeah my head feels like its been split open and i was knocked unconscious when i hit the wall in the great wall as to the curse if i could tell you what one it was would it help remove it there aren't really any forms of dark lightning except for one. I made sure to know what curses would be thrown at me before I get into the fight just encase it comes in handy" he said to Robert wanting to make it sound like he was a auror or a order member or even just some wizard that heard of the battle and wanted to help out. He couldn't help to think how he would have been able to get away with his wounds had he been a vampire or if he had any sort of advanced healing ability. He made a mental note to try to become one again should it prove more advantageous than being a human.
