Yumi sat in the common room for quite a while now. Like many other nights, she couldn't sleep. Something was keeping her up, but what could it be? She had laid in her bed for almost an hour, just staring at the ceiling, hoping she would just go back to sleep. But she didn't and she also didn't want to just lay there all night, she might as well do something.
She quietly got up from her bed and rummaged around in her trunk, making the least amout of noise as possible, for her favorite book. She might as well read it, if she couldn't do anything else. But there wasn't enough light in the dormitiories for her to read the book, so she quietly slipped on her shoes and walked out of the girl's dorm. She made her way to the common room and sat down on the coach that was there.
It was so calm and quiet at that time, everyone was asleep so there was no one to bother her. She opened the book and took the bookmark out. She began to read from the line that said, Time was up, there was nothing more I could do. The book was a mystery/adventure story. There was a little girl of maybe 13 years of age and her mother had been shot. By who she didn't know, and she planned to get her revenge, no matter what she had to do.
