Only Here to Help

With out warning Cecilia appeared on the door step of the house that Chastity Moor and Kitty now lived in. she knocked on the door hoping that once it was opened that it wasn’t slammed in her face. She really was just here to help. She wore a plain black traveling cloak though she hated them so much. She looked around as she waited. The door didn’t open right away just like Cecilia has suspected. She knocked again hoping that Chase was at home and not out somewhere. “come on they will start wondering where I’m at,” she said to herself quietly. In the inside pocket of her cloak was an envelope. In the envelope was a lot of money. Enough to support Chastity and Kitty for over a year if the money was spent correctly and Chase stuck to a budge for at least a hundred dollars a week.

Chase jumped. She was just getting Katherine a bottle, when there was a knock on the door. Who could that be? Chase finished getting the bottle ready quickly, and heard another knock again. "Coming! Hold on! Coming!" She called, holding Katherine's bottle for her, and going to the door. She opened it up and frowned. "Cecilia, Erm.. hi... erm." She said slowly, confused. "What.. what are you doing here? How.. I mean... hi come on in.." She said stepping back from the door, and letting her in. "I... I'm sorry I don't have much furniture or anything you know.. the futon.." She said showing her into the room. It was a large open space, there was no real distinction between the rooms.

"Would you like some tea? Or... some cookies?" She asked slowly, going to the kitchen area, and putting on the kettle. "I... I don't really have anything else..." She said and moved into the front room again. Sitting down on the futon, she held Katherine carefully, letting her eat from the bottle. "What brings you were Cecilia?" She asked holding Katherine protectively, unsure of what to make of Elijah's sister coming to her home.. at least she didn't break in.

Cecilia stepped inside taking off her cloak. she shook her head and closed the door, "i did not come here to take from you but to give." she stood in front of the door watching her "I want Elijah's daughter to have a good life and to live with her mom. There is no way Elijah is helping you if you have nothing. Eli should at least be giving you money to support her. " she looked around the small home then took the envelope out of the pocket. “Eli wouldn’t do so on his own. He’d be to afraid to risk the family name.” she handed the envelope to Chastity and watched as she feed Kitty. “Would you mind if I held her?” she asked, “If you do mind me holding my niece I’ll be leavening.”

Chase watched the girl uncertainly. She obviously knew that she was nervous about anyone coming to take her child. She was extremely nervous around anyone in the house, who had anything to do with her children. Chase stared at her for a long moment, it appeared Cecilia had almost the same feelings about Elijah as she did, and she bit her lower lip, staring at the girl. "I can't accept your money Cecilia... I can't.. I'm sorry." She said shaking her head, not taking the envelope, and staring at Cecilia with an odd look on her face. "That's right.. I forget.. you are her aunt aren't you.." She said frowning slightly. "That's odd.. I never even thought about it.." She said smiling slightly. Slowly, she moved and let Cecilia hold Katherine. Sure she was nervous, but she couldn't hold onto her baby forever... so this was a first step.

"She's still very young.. make sure to hold her head carefully.." She said softly. Chase had never actually breast fed Katherine, and had gone straight to the bottle. Chase watched Cecilia and frowned. "Why would you want to help me Cecilia, what did Elijah do to you? I mean.. he is your brother.. but..what did he do to you?" She asked softly, shaking her head slowly. "I can't take your money though.. I"m getting a job, I got some from a small muggle bank account, my parents kept separate.. I'll be fine, I don't need help..."

"Elijah did nothing really. He is a grate brother and will be a grate father when he can. right now he can't. I just want to help her. I want her to have a life as if she where known as a Krum by the whole wizarding word and not just a few people." She sat the envelope down on the futon before she carefully took Kitty from her mother. She held her carefully as Chastity said not wanting to hurt the little baby girl. “Hi,” she said smiling down at her.
Chastity repeated that she couldn’t take the money, “judging by this place you could make more use of it than me. Spend it all on Kathrin or use it to pay bills. If you don’t take the money you will have problems making ends meet. “Take it. I don’t need it and I will just go to waist if I kept it. If you take it I will know that it will be used for good.”

Chase felt herself snarl almost angrily at the girl, and she tensed up. "Katherine isn't a Krum.. she is a Moor... She will never be known as a Krum.." She said staring at Cecilia. "She isn't apart of your family anymore Cecilia, she is my baby.. and I left her father.. that is it.. I won't lie to her when she asks who her dad is.. but.. She won't meet him, and she isn't a Krum." She said and carefully removed Katherine from her arms, staring at the baby girl. "I'm just happy she looks nothing like him is all!" Chase bit her lower lip and stood up quickly. She to the back of the room, and into a door there, that led to her bedroom. She emerged without Katherine, and moved into the Kitchen area, washing out the bottle and setting it upside down in the sink.

"Fine.. just leave it there Cecilia.. I could use it.. but please.. just go away.. I'm fine by myself.. thanks for your concern.. but like I said.. Katherine and I had nothing to do with the Krum family.. she isn't a Krum, and she won't be KNOWN as a Krum to anyone.. she is Katherine Moor, I've already had her name changed and everything... though these days I barely trust anything legal, I got it changed for the wizarding world, and the muggle world, she is Katherine Moor.. Katherine Moor, and you tell that to Elijah alright?" She said and spun around and went into her room, shutting the door behind her, and not coming out again.

"She will always be a Krum in my eyes, "Cecilia said putting on her cloak and walking out of the house. she had been talking to a closed door but that didn't matter any more. the two would be fine or at least she hoped. she walked off down the dark road wondering through London. she put the hood of the cloak up so it hid her face in shadows as she walked underneath the street lamps. "she has Krum blood in her even if no one else will acknowledge it. " Cecilia said to her self as she walked passed a few muggles who stared at her then ran in the opposite direction as if Cecilia would hurt them.
