Battle Casualties

Jack watched Brian only giving Angus a breif nod to acknowlage him while his eyes were fixed on Brian and the nam he spoke to down the hall. Jess moved beside Angus " not it will not do to fight here " she said " mainly there will be to many casualties " she moved to stand beside Khaat hoping it would not turn into a fight but resolve peicefully and quietly for the sake of the pationts and the staff none had chosen healing to fight even jess had tuned to it threw fear of fighting and failing her freinds she chose it because it was the opasite and it was safe for her children to know she would not go and nevr come back.

Angus saw Khaat become restless in her sleep. She was dreaming. She wasn't settled. Nor would she be, he knew, until she knew Eli was safe. Angus sighed heavily. He wished he had the ability to soothe her. But he wasn't Brian. He wasn't Eli. And he didn't have any abilities to soothe her mind. He sat on the edge of the bed and just held her hand. He laid his other hand on her stomach. The babies felt like they were having a boxing match underneath his hand.

"Boy, are they pissed off," Angus said softly with a slight smile. "Maybe Brian needed to cast some sort of a sleep spell on them too. They're acting like a pair of sumo wrestlers. I don't know how that doesn't give her one hell of a stomachache."

Felix smirked, his hand resting on Hyde's back. "Remember the plan.. bite her up if you want to.. but get out fast.." He mumbled. He was standing just around the corner from St. Mungos, amazing how close he could actually get, without them even knowing. Some protection they had.. Felix smirked and strode out onto the street in front of St. Mungos. A few people who were Wizards and heading into the hospital, froze in their tracks, staring at him wide eyed. "Anyone here wanna tell Khaat Lupin and friends that I'm waiting outside?" He asked simply. A man hurried into the hospital, panic stricken.

He ran up to the front desk, while more and more people streamed in, obviously afraid. Felix simply leaned against the wall out front, waiting patiently for some friends to join him. "Someone! Someone, please.. Barker... Felix Barker.. he's.. he's outside! He wants someone to tell Khaat and her friends that he's there.. I... I don't know what he wants.. but, it's probably not good!" He said looking around at the shocked faces in the waiting room. A nurse hurried upstairs as fast as possible. "Mr. Quinn! Mrs. Lupin!" The nurse shouted frantically, getting the attention of everyone in the area. "Barker.... Barker is outside!" She panted once she got up to Angus and Brian. "Says he wants to see you..." She looked panicked. Everyone knew of Barker's reputation, and no one wanted to be caught on the end of his wand... he had been sent to Azkaban.. and suddenly he was outside of St. Mungos.

"Please.. get him out of here.. we have patients... and.. they don't need this.." She said nervously, looking in at the sleeping form of Khaat Lupin. Her stomach looked like it was heaving beneath her skin, and the nurse winced. "Is she okay?" She asked softly, before shaking her head. "Oh! Nevermind! Go get him out of here!" She said and moved out of the way, hoping these brave men would go and do as she asked.

Brian looked at VIktor. "Barker's here! In the hospital! Protect your family!!" He turned and flew at the sound of Felix Barker in the building, coming so boldly after Khaat. He raced down the hallway towards Khaat's room. "You all! Go! GO!!! Find Felix Barker and kill him. Now!" he roared at them all in Khaat's room. "I want him DEAD! Every one of you! GO!" He was outraged. He planted himself firmly in the doorway of Khaat's room. No one was getting to her again. He raised his wand and flicked it at her to remove the sleep spell just enough that if she needed to defend herself she could. He did not want her completely defenseless. Angus dashed past him, with his wand at the ready.

Khaat felt the spell lift, and she was caught between sleep and wakefulness. She was far more asleep than awake. She could hear Brian there, and in her mind, the fact that she could hear him meant that all was well. She let herself slip back into a comfortable doze.

Cecilia heard many voices some of them talking others shouting but they didn’t seem to be fighting, well not a battle any way. The last thing she remembered was the roots wrapping themselves around her. “Daddy?” she murmured recognizing his voice out of the others. Slowly her eyes fluttered open and she was blinded by the bright lights that filled the room, “Daddy? Where am I?” she asked quietly. Viktor was talking to Brian and probably didn’t hear her. Blinking a few times her eyes began to adjust to the light. She sat up or she tried to until she got dizzy and gave up. “What’s going on?” as she heard some more yelling. Someone told Viktor to protect his family and she was even more confused. Were they not safe where they were?

Felix knew they would be coming out at any second. Knowing them, they thought he was in the building already.. well that wasn't his plan.. if that was his plan, he wouldn't have announced his arrival, now would he? No.. while everyone was no doubtedly dashing around the hospital, Felix gave the signal to Hyde. Hyde... if need be, could bite anyone on the way in.. they were already being treated for something... so why not tack on another bit.. well.. bite. Felix chuckled, and looked at Hyde, who had disappeared around back the building. He knew ways in that no one would even dream of. Felix also had a nice supply of polyjuice potion, in case things got tough. Hyde was just beginning his entrance, and not taking the front door, to easy. But they would be after Felix in a heartbeat.. but hey, it was their loss if they didn't get the note he had attached to Hyde's collar.

Felix couldn't stop smiling at all the ruckus his very presence demanded. Sure, he had done some awful things.. but the fact that he couldn't walk past St. Mungos without the world flipping out made him extremely happy. He waited patiently as everyone sorted things out inside, and he stood calmly outside, lighting up a cigarette, and staring up at the windows, muggles passing completely ignored him, and he liked it better that way, he could slip into their midst later.

Hyde on the other hand, was plenty busy. Slipping around back, he found a service door, one that was hidden in an alley, and only the trash went out through. Slipping through it, he found himself in an empty room. Sniffing around, he quickly determined where Khaat was and took off. Finally managing to slip around corridors, and made it up in good time, to Khaat's room. But there was one problem Felix hadn't told him about.. Quinn was standing in front of the door. He growled darkly, and wondered just how mad Felix would be if the note didn't get to Khaat personally, but to the guy standing guard. Oh well. he'd have to get in and give it to her. Stepping out into full view, Hyde growled darkly. Teeth flashing at Brian, hoping to lure him away from the door. He stepped back out of site to avoid any spells, and then shot across the hallway.

Flying straight at Brian, he flung himself around him and down to the other end of the corridor. Hoping he would follow him. Flying back down the hallway, he dashed past him, nipping at him as he went, saliva pooling on the floor, making it relatively slippery, not to mention acidic, if he had any cuts, and fell down.. lets just say it wouldn't be pretty.. and it would hurt.. a lot. Hyde did a few more passes, dodging anything thrown at him, before he barrelled past, and stayed hidden, hoping he would come looking for him.

Jack moved to Brian hearing the urgancy in his voice he took out his wand and moved to the door " jess go help the others " he said and headed out to search jess loked at Khaat and moved out to another level and more wounded she held meand and bandage wounds some she had never seen the likes of before.

Jack moved down the corridors his wand out people moved out of his way as he moved his eyes sarching each one for Felix as he moved carefuly and quietly down each coridor so not to sidterb any of the patiants inside who were sleeping and recovering.

Some hideous looking hellhound had somehow gotten into the hospital. And Brian found himself thrown on the floor by the beast somehow. The thing was drooling some sort of slime that made Brian want to wretch, despite his strong stomach. This thing needed killed. The whatever-it-was took off running down the hall, and Brian shouted at Khaat and dashed off the hall after the thing.

Contented in her partial sleep spell, she only half heard him, despite his shouting and his alarm. She thought perhaps he sounded like it was important, but she couldn't quite wake. She fought against it, but before long, she gave up and fell back asleep.

Hyde watched as Brian ran straight past him, and then he went back around, and trotted into Khaat's room. Seeing she was asleep, a wolfish grin crossed the dog's face. He growled loudly and went up to the woman. Without so much as waiting for her to wake up, he bit her hard on the arm. Saliva that had infection properties in them, flowed into the wound his teeth made. He growled low in his throat, and shook his head, letting the letter fall to the bed beside Khaat. It didn't say much, but it had Hyde's footprint on it, and a large letter F scrawled on the bottom. Along with what looked like bright red hair, taped beside the F. The dog sniffed the letter, and then growled again, and took a nip at her arm, and as he did, what appeared to be a binky fell out of his collar as well. Hyde started towards the door again, and then he howled loud, and long. Throwing back his head, and leaning up to look at the ceiling. Calling attention to this room again, getting that man back to the room as well.

As this was happening, Felix had been apparating just around street corners, disappearing one second, and appearing the next, leading them away from the hospital, but never to far to call suspicion, and make them go racing back to the Hospital. Felix was on the verge of laughing uproarously. By the time they figured out what he had done, he'd be long gone by now... he already had his lover back, his dog back, a new hideout, and a new victim to torture, but this time, he also had a vengeance to fill. He was pissed at Khaat Lupin, and he was ready to show her once and for all, who was in charge of her life. He was.. and no matter how hard she tried.. he could wiggle his way into her life, and take control, when you love someone, you are weak, and Khaat Lupin had many loves, and that would be her downfall.

Something bit her. Hard. It woke her suddenly, violently, rudely. She thought perhaps she was dreaming. The sleep spell was still strong her her system. But there was warm blood running down her arm. She could feel its stickiness. It took her a second to realize that it was Barker's beast from Hell. And she was alone. She grabbed her wand and began just firing spells at it with her right hand. With her left hand, she summoned a metal water basin from the counter and began slamming it repeatedly into the dog's head with all the force she could muster.

Brian heard the beast howl back from the direction he had come from and he spun in his tracks and flew back towards Khaat, wishing he had the time to headslap himself because he had allowed himself to be drawn off her. When he reached back to her room, he saw Khaat wasn't awake at all. She had turned her wand on the beast and he heard her sleepily cast a spell at it but her words were all garbled up. What the hell had that been? he frowned. Then it clicked with him--it had been a somewhat backasswards Avada Kedavra. The only thing it served to do was to spin the dog in circles for several rounds, leaving it a bit dizzy by the looks of it. He' d never seen Khaat mangle a spell before, but he was going to mangle the dog.

He took his wand and made huge slashing motions at the beaat, causing deep sectumsempras on the thing, not wanting to fire a killing spell in case it hit Khaat by mistake. Brian could wield his wand like a sword if he needed to, and with a little luck, the thing would bleed out before it returned to the bowels of Hell.
