As Leaila picked out some of May's favorite candies, she heard crying. She figured it was from small children, two children. Leaila hated when kids cried, she always liked to see kids happy and playing. She walked over to where the crying was coming from, and saw the crying was coming from two infant children. The mother waas trying to calm them. She chuckled and walked closer to them. "You know I think the one in the stroller might want you to pick her up." she said, hoping she didn't startle the mother. "And the one you're holding might want to be put down."
She didn't really know whether or not the one in her arms really wanted to be put down, or if he was hungry, but it seemed pretty clear that the girl wanted to be picked up. Babies were picky about where they wanted to be. She remembered when May was a baby, she would just start crying when she wanted to be picked up, and when she wanted to be put down she did the same. Her cries for food and wanting to be pick up or put down were different. The girl's cries seemed like wanting to be pick up cries to Leaila.
(Sorry, about the godmod of the children.)
