Lesson 8 - Basic Level

Another school year, another bunch of new and old students... Every year the same, but every one of those years he enters these classrooms with a smile on his face and joy in his heart because of the classes and the opportunity to teach new wizards and witches what he knows. The lesson plan and the working methods are still the same, the classroom is still empty... but the latter will soon change. Professor McCoy took his seat at the front desk and waited, scrolling through papers.

Sam walked in and instantly felt the relief that came almost naturally with Transfiguration, the light at the end of his tunnel after a long day at school. Mind you, the days seemed shorter now, after he'd finally dropped Potions, the true bane of his existence. All the same, he was pleased to make it into Professor McCoy's classroom.

"Afternoon sir," he said with a smile, walking in and taking his usual seat, pulling out his wand and text book to be prepared for the activity to come. "First one here," he muttered, more to himself than anyone. It didn't bother him, like it did many others, being first simply meant that you had a few extra minutes to relax, rather than stressing about arriving on time.

Xemnas came in, wondering what the next class was gonna be about. Frankly he didn't care much, he hated classes now. Mostly because there was just boring, but he wasn't just gonna be a troublemaker. So he sat down slouching in his desk as usual. He looked around to see that only Samuel was there. It was someone from his house and by the attitude some teachers gave him, he seemed pretty much like a troublemaker to Xemnas. He knew he wasnt gonna talk to him, so he just sat there with his head down. Boredom.......

Hitame walked into the classroom, feeling tired after everything that happened. She looked around the room, only the professor and two other students. She passed by Professor McCoy's desk saying a faint, "Hello professor." and made her way to the desks. She looked at Xemnas and Samuel blankly for a moment and finally said, "Hey Sam." and sat down next to Xemnas. "Hey Xem." she said, in a whisper and she looked him over, trying to match his slouch to mimic him. But she soon gave up, sighed, and began to giggle softly to herself.

Aurora casually walked into the classroom. To her it seemed like forever since the last time she had stepped foot inside the Transfiguration classroom. “Good Day Professor.” She said calmly before taking a seat at a desk near the back of the classroom. She had become so used to sitting in the back of a classroom it was ridiculous. “Hello Hitame, Xem, Sam” Aurora said nodding to each of the Gryffindors. It was strange that there were only Gryffindors in the classroom. She sorted through her books before putting them on the floor at the foot of her chair and putting her quill and ink on the desk in front of her.
