Lesson 8 - N.E.W.T. Level

Walking into the classroom that day, Remembrance felt terrible. She had never liked Defense Against the Dark Arts. She thought that she knew enough that if she needed to defend herself she’d be able to. For Remembrance, Defense Against the Dark Arts class was a total waste of time. Remembrance didn’t even like the professor for the class very much as well. She always thought of him as someone who was a psycho would like. Not someone like her who hated life and working and liked to kick back and relax.

Even though she didn’t like the teacher or the class, Remembrance had come that day. Coming to the class seemed like the worst idea though. She felt like an outsider there as she did most other places. It was all because she had very few friends and didn’t know anyone in the classroom. She recognized maybe two people who she had seen around before but besides them she knew no one there.

Silently, Remembrance nodded toward the professor and took a seat near the back of the classroom.

Alexis walked into DADA and immediately felt like she was going to die or something. She didn't like DADA that much, not because she wasn't any good at it, but because she didn't like to fight very much, Sure she would fight if someone pushed her to her limits, but other than that she wouldn't fight. She debated now why she was decided to take DADA and she mind told her You took it because you have to know how to protect yourself, especially now that you have no family.

It seemed that now her mind always wanted to remind her that she had no family. Her mind wanted to make her mad, it wanted to play mind games with her. Ever since she became a wolf it was always like that. Why me? Why did this have to happen to me? she asked herself. And like always her mind responded Because you weren't meant to have a family like that. You were meant to be among the wolves. She shook her head and sighed.

She glanced around quickly and felt she didn't know anyone there. Lex waved to the professor and sat down near the back.
