Dueling Team

Doyle limped earlier to prepare things for the first dueling meeting of the term. He wasn't even remotely happy to be doing this thing, but... he was obliged to. He entered the empty classroom, pushed all the desks aside and conjured a large crimson rug in the middle. This thing had to be official, by the book, which resulted in the destruction of all creativity. After preparing all of it, he took a seat and waited for the members to come.

Why the flip were they having a duelling meeting in the Potions lab, when there was a perfectly good duelling chamber upstairs? Selwyn didn't know. Selwyn didn't care. Selwyn didn't care for Doyle, either, but he was here, wasn't he?

He looked through his eyelashes at the teacher and proceeded to ignore him.

Keith slipped into the dungeons and snapped off a mock salute to Doyle. "Professor," he said, grinning slightly as he took his seat. The only other person in the dungeon was Selwyn, somebody Keith hadn't really seen all year - which in his mind was fairly disappointing. He and Selwyn weren't good friends, or even friends, but the Slytherin boy was interesting, and Keith was rarely bored when around him.

Come to think of it, Hogwarts had been fairly boring this year. Routine, almost. Sure, people had gotten kidnapped and stuff, but nothing really interesting had happened to him - except Spice, which come to think of it he hadn't sold in a while. Khaat's allowances were spoiling him, he needed to go out and make some money for a change.

Remembrance walked into the room calmly, nodding to the professor before taking her seat. She wasn’t as big of a fan at dueling as others were but she thought it would be fun. She hadn’t dueled since they had a sort of unauthorized duel where some ended up in the hospital wing. Now she was in her own house’s dueling club. That made her at least a little happy on top of everything that has been happening around there since Kellan left.

Sitting at one of the desks, she saw two others there. One was a boy by the name of Keith who she knew because she heard that he had sold drugs of his own creation and he sold many other things. The other kid was one she only knew as a boy who liked to disrupt class at the most inconvenient time just to make the professors mad with useless junk.
