Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Sunsets, Slate and Stone Empty Sunsets, Slate and Stone

The breeze was warm as it circulated in the atmosphere around Elijah, making him to sway from side to side as he shimmied himself around the overhang of one of the towers. His hands were coated with fur and his elongated feline claws were creating marks in the slate roof.

Elijah had been intrigued to discover that he was an Animagus. He’d never expected it really but after a night of sifting through the memories that had appeared in his mind, he found a version of himself clawing a portrait and scaring young Ravenclaws in search of a young woman by the name of Amelia. He saw visions of himself running over the rooftops of Paris and lounging in trees in the grounds of the manor. He had been eager to give the whole thing ago and so far he’d managed to change his hands. He daren’t do the rest of his body for fear of falling off of the tower. Still, it was worth it.

What brought the Slytherin up into the sky was not at all obvious from the way he swung himself around on the rim of the tower head. Elijah’s feet found a window sill and he used that to push himself up onto the roof of the tower. He grinned to himself as he grabbed hold of the weathervane and he hauled himself up onto the slate. Elijah shook his hands out and turned over so he was sat on his bottom.

He rubbed his now human hands together before reaching into his pocket to get the bottle of water he’d shrunk before making the journey. After unshrinking it, Elijah unscrewed the cap and guzzled what was inside until there was barely a thimbleful left. Satisfied; Elijah set the bottle down beside him and watched as it slid down the side of the roof and off of the edge. He swore but did not move as he had no desire to fall after the bit of plastic. Smiling to himself, Elijah shook his head and turned his eyes out to the lake where the sun was setting over the hills. His smile turned wistful as he drank in the sunset. Now if only, the company was as magnificent as the setting.

The only thing that Yumi felt at this presice moment was anger. In her hands were a letter she had recieved from her so called father and a letter she had written in response to his letter. Now she was going to the Owlery to send the letter. She had never felt so angry in her life, and in just one letter her "father" had made her madder than she had been in her whole life.

He never left her live in peace, and she hated it. He was constantly sending her books that made her remember her real parents were dead and he was the one who killed them. Why had he taken her in? If he had killed her parents to try and wipe out her her family, why then didn't he kill her when he had the chance? She always asked herself that.

Maybe it was because she could be useful to him for something, for what? She didn't know, and she didn't care. Right now she just to mad to care or even to think straight. She didn't want him putting her down anymore. And she planned on making him stop with the letter and if she when she saw him at home she would do something else to him.

She gave the letter to an owl and watched as it flew away. Then she heard the sound of something falling off the roof and landing on the ground. She looked out of the window from the Owlery and looked down to find a small plastic bottle on the ground. She was a mazed that small bottle made such a noise and then she looked up toward the roof. Someone was up there\, she knew otherwise the bottle wouldn't have fallen. She climbed up to the roof and found Elijah. She had never really spoken to him, and she didn't really feel like taking at all right now but she sat down next to him and stared at the sun setting, without saying a word.

Sunsets, Slate and Stone Empty Re: Sunsets, Slate and Stone

Elijah closed his eyes as the breeze blew over his face. He felt his hair slip off of his shoulders but paid it no heed. He’d put it up with the ribbon tied around his wrist in a few moments. Until then however, he’d enjoy the simplicity of such a moment. Then of course, company ruined that. Elijah didn’t complain but he did crack an eyelid open when a familiar Slytherin student sat down beside him. She was familiar, that he could not deny. A sift through his memories told him that he hadn’t slept with her but someone else had. Another sift in search of the answer rewarded Elijah with the information he’d been prying for and smirked when he realised that this girl, Yumi, his mind supplied, had slept with Kendall Rookwood – the evidence of which was now on one of the couches in the Slytherin Common Room. If Elijah remembered rightly, or if the memories told him correctly rather, he’d also had a few people on that couch.

Said couch was quickly developing a reputation in Elijah’s mind and he was determined not to sit on it ever again. The Sex Couch was a no go zone unless it was being used for its primary function. Elijah was unlikely to ever make use of that now. Sex was terrifying for him. He’d played scenes over and over again in his mind where he, with the simplest of touches, drew out sounds that shouldn’t have even come from the human body. Both males and females fell into a haze of lust and Elijah could not stop himself from watching on as their hips bucked upwards in frustration as he’d continue to tease, his smirk growing with every movement. Elijah didn’t think for a second he could replicate any of that and frankly, he didn’t really want to. He was dealing with the after affects of all of his vices. He’d learned quickly that there was only one way to get rid of the result of a rather explicit dream. He wasn’t particularly fond of that either but it was necessary and he couldn’t say that it wasn’t welcomed. Still, he felt awkward and self-degrading even if he was concealed by the emerald drapes that hung from the top of his bed.

“They’re twin peaks,” Elijah heard himself say to Yumi. His hand rose and he watched as his fingers traced the tops of the hills despite not being able to touch them. “The sun sets in the middle; perfectly in the middle. Merlin himself couldn’t create something as perfect. He wouldn’t have known where the orb would fall. Mother Nature is more than just a Goddess; she is a woman that has created a world that is rarely portrayed in a manner such as this. It’s more than beautiful but there are no words left to describe it.” He left it at that, deciding that there was no need to say any more. There was just simply no need. So he sat there, content to let the last of the golden colour wash over him before night set in.

Yumi broke her gaze with the sun and looked over at Elijah as he spoke. She looked at him tracing the tops of the hills with his fingers and just smiled. She brought her legs up to her, put her arms on top of her knees, and stared at her hands. "Perfectly in the middle.." she echoed sub-consiencely, still looking at her hands. She had never really liked being on the roofs of the towers, but for some reason this time she felt calm and she actually wanted to be there. The breeze that blew over her face and made her hair flow back down her shoulders and back, might have been the reason, she liked being out there at the moment.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She didn't feel angry anymore, in fact she forgot why she was angry in the first place. But she would remember afterwards, she knew and then she would just be mad again. She opened her eyes again and looked out at the sun once more. There was only a few more mintues of sun left before night set in and she would have to go back to the common room and sit in the dark of it for most of the night like she usually did.

She still wondered why she couldn't sleep through the night anymore. It was almost impossible for her to sleep anymore, there were to many things on her mind, most of all James(her "father"). He was always being a jerk, and making her feel bad about being an orphan. "I hate him.." she hissed quietly, her angry coming back once. If her letter wasn't enough to make him stop she would make him stop another way, that she never wanted to use.
