Jen sometimes wondered why she bothered with the Aurors. Actually, she wondered that more often than not. Then she remembered that if it was up to anyone else, they’d be a mess. As it was, they were a mess and she had no excuses for them. They should have been putting energy into their jobs. They didn’t, though. That disappointed Jen more than she was willing to let on. Despite this though she knew that it was time to push them and she was willing to push harder than they were. She wanted time and energy from them despite denying it. She wanted their time and their energy put into the job that would, ultimately, save their families. She couldn’t ask too much from them otherwise she’d get the rebellion that Brian had displayed. As entertaining as mutiny would be for her, she didn’t fancy one just yet.
“Ladies and gentlemen, while the Ministry was faffing around celebrating the end of the war, the Death Eaters that were left were allowed to pollute the minds of those idiotic enough and willing to continue what Lord Voldemort had begun. What the Ministry should have done was round’ them up. They didn’t. We have Death Eaters rotting in Azkaban, sure, but not as many as we should. That’s why we’re here. I want to see these people behind bars and I don’t doubt you do too. I don’t, however, think you can take on the Death Eaters. Now, is anyone proficient in both Leglimency and Occlumency?”
